I would think topiaries. Lots of them. And maybe doing the famous butterfly cake from Martha Stewart!
Large, ivy topiaries scattered around the rooms, in corners, with wild flowers, butterflies, and antique tea settings with maybe flowers in them as centerpieces!
Like this:

-Birdcages filled with flowers and fairy lights for centerpieces-did you know you can get battery and LED operated strings of fairy lights and firefly lights?
-lanterns and tealights
-a couple of fairies in the garden
-a harpist playing in the background
-little slices of wood with the guests names burned into them, tied to the back of the chairs instead of placecards
-large wrought iron gates placed as an entrance- or a japanese type garden gate
-you could use skeleton keys on a large ring to drape tulle
- also use skeleton keys in other ways-attached with ribbon to the bouquets?
-moss basket for ring bearer and flower girl

Fwiw, when I was married a lifetime ago (to the xh), I had for some of the centerpieces (real)ivy topiaries in different shapes at each table setting in ceramic pots, with roses in little glass containers placed around the topiary, and rose petals scattered around them and lots of tealights. It looked fabulous.
Oh forgot..had pouf of tulle under each topiary (topiary and the rose arrangement was elevated with the tulle underneath) and the candles and rose petals scattered below on the tables.
Topiaries look great and make amazing arrangements!
I'm not sure how to post a pic of it but I googled secret garden weddings and clicked on images and the most beautiful pictures came up! I would try that to get some ideas

disco balls hung from the trees to reflect light
garden benches tucked here and there
birdcages hanging from the trees
create an ivy covered arch with a view to a fountain
@bellenga: Ohh, I have MAJOR butterfly-envy!!!! I'm doing butterflies for my wedding! I have these adorable little kissing angels for my cake topper (I even put a black bowtie on the boy, and a veil on the girl!!) and the cake is going to have really fluffy icing, so it looks like they're standing on a cloud! I just may have to have butterflies flying around the "cloud"!! :D LOVE this post!

I just would love some pictures of things that are related and would look good for a Secret Garden wedding.
I'm getting married in a beautiful garden, and would love to know some things that could be hung from the trees to create a whimsical feel, or any other ideas that you like.
My FI and I are thinking of getting vintage keys for escort cards. =]
Thank you!
