Hm, I don't have too many details but my cousin was going for a Disney wedding. It was great because they do everything for you but it ended up being WAY more expensive than she anticipated. So much so that they skipped just before signing the contract. But I have no idea what the numbers were...
hi!! I am a recent WDW bride. I would pop over to disboards.com...there is a great Disney Bride section. What I will say is, I believe it is possible to do what you are asking. Even though you aren't getting married in the park, you will still have to meet all the requirements of a WDW wedding. Good luck :)
There is a member who just had her wedding at WDW. I think she's on her honeymoon right now, but you should check out WDWBride's profile for some of her details.
LOL @ WDWBride - I knew this post screamed you, but I didn't think you were around!! :o)
I have to say, Shades of Green is the best kept secret. If anyone in your family or your FI's family is military (active or retired), you can get a great deal at this resort. It is located right by the Grand Floridian hotel. So while it's not a Disney owned hotel, it's on Disney property just a hop, skip and a jump away from the Magic Kingdom. A friend of mine is planning her wedding and reception there and I'm so jealous of the great deal she is getting, and that I didn't think of it first. FI's father is retired Navy.

We are recently engaged and planning a Catholic wedding ceremony overseas but our reception will be at Disney, if all goes well :) We are thinking we'd like to have it at the Italy pavilion at Epcot but so far we haven't gotten all the details. Any advice from former WDW brides?
