Maybe go with a bold, large damask pattern, I think black damask looks so fantastic against stark white. You colors are very traditional, so definitely go with something bold, modern, and creative to offset that if traditional is not what you're going for. Also, because the colors are so high contrast and vivid, a bold design will be complimentary. Perhaps black text and tie with a wide satin ribbon in an unexpected place (not right in the middle). Maybe do the damask across the top or bottom third of the invitation and then tie the ribbon around the middle of where the damask pattern falls.
If I wasn't up to my nose in freelance work I would help. Sorry!
SOLUTION: You want LindseyRyanDesigns. She did Miss Perfume's invitation suite, and I've asked her to help with ours.
Here's a link to some of her invite samples: http://gallery.me.com/lindseyryandesign#100083
Here's her shop on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6278125&order=§ion_id=&page=2

Definately check out Etsy!!! There are so many wonderful designers on there and you're likely to find someone who suits your style. The best part is that most of them welcome custom orders. That's where I found seller lilribbers. She can also be found at www.Letterpunchdesign.com. She also offers a great DIY option by providing all the files to print your invites yourself.
I can recommend my invitation desiger- she was great! And, super fun.
I think she's just setting up her Etsy site, but if you PM me, I'll give you her personal e-mail. She does custom designs.
Like many others suggested I would check out Etsy - I am sure you could find a designer on there that could personalize something for you! I think thats a great route
I just picked up really creative invites from papercakedesigns.com (she is also on Etsy). It just happened she was really close to me. I would highly recommend her! Her ideas are terrific and I think she can even design something for you. She is fantastic and really nice.
Congratulations!
Kirsten (Sept. bride)
i did something similar to this:
i did it myself, so if you'd like something just like it, i can definitely help you. just PM me!
I do laser jet printing and gocco printing
here's is my site: http://www.fadingflowers.etsy.com
I too am struggling to find a reasonably priced designer that I could buy a pocket invitation design from and then print and assemble myself...never dreamed this would be so frustrating!
THANKS!

Hi!
I am looking for someone who is way more artistic then myself to help design my Oct 31st wedding invitation. My colors are red, black, white and grey and I am open to just about anything except I am trying not to be completely Halloween based.
I really like the more unconventional styles like these:
http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/05/01/invitation-inspiration-4/#more-91955
and love the idea of a monogram. Our last name will begin with D.
Please PM if you will help! I am DIY challenged :-(
