I think depending on the amt of alterations you did to it, general condition and stains, I would be willing to pay 40-70% of the original price.

I would think $300 is a steal. I would say 50-60% is what I would expect to pay.
It does depend on the extent of the alterations but based on your description of it, 300 sounds like a good deal
Excellent - I thought I was "right on" with the price, but wanted to make sure I wasn't being unreasonable! Hopefully the dress will be out of my closet at the end of the week!

I posted my wedding dress on Craigslist and have someone coming to look at it/try it on this weekend. I listed it for 1/3 of what I paid (I figured that was reasonable) so I don't know how much I'm willing to wiggle on the price.
If you were to purchase a gently used wedding dress (I looked over it last night and could only find 1-2 dirt smudges on the under-side of the train), what would you try to get it for? (I paid ~$900 and am asking $300).
