I need opinions! My Fiance and I haven’t really thought much about having a send-off, but my mother asked me about it the other day and voiced the opinion that guests really like being able to participate in it, so even if I hadn’t thought of it I should think of something for them. First question- for those of you who have had weddings or just been to more than I have, do guests really enjoy it a lot, or is it just one more thing to do? Secondly, we’re having the ceremony and reception at the same place, so it would be at the end of the reception and there are a lot of restrictions on what we could use due to the venue. Basically, no rice, no confetti, no flower petals, no sparklers, bubbles only outside (and the walkway outside is very short, basically through the door and three steps to the parking lot!) I thought of ribbon wands or noise makers, but my Fiance wasn’t particularly taken with either of those. Does anyone else have any good, creative ideas for this? Or advice on whether to bother or not at all?
