My friend I have known since I was in the 4th grade passed away yesterday…
She had a rare blood disease called Aplastic Anemia. She had it for three years. She took chemo, blood transfushions, the works… The treatments stopped working.
She went in for blood last week and her temp was 103. They made her stay and she got bad fast. Her heart was only working 40%, her foot got gangrene, they was trying to keep her kindeys from shutting down, shocked her twice, had her on 100% oxygen……………… I went and seen her Friday and held her hand. I kept telling her so many people needed her here…. Her son who is only 16 months old will never know his mom. She was so young… She was so sweet would do anything for anyone in the world….
I can’t explain how I feel. I don’t feel. I felt so nuteral all day today. I didn’t cry… I didn’t do anything. It felt like any other day… Like it wasn’t real… IT DOESN’T FEEL REAL IT DOESN’T! Then I broke down & now I can’t hardly think straight.. I keep thinking about how Ill never hear her voice again and never talk to her again and only God knows why… Yesterday I locked myself in the bathroom and just hit the floor. I swear I didn’t even believe it. I still don’t… I know its real I KNOW. But I don’t FEEL it. I know I am not making sense… MY mind is cluttered.
Just send thoughts, prayers, positive energy…. Send it this way today bees.We all need it… Esp her mom and son….

My thoughts and prayers are with you, her son and her family. From knowing a friend whose mom passed away at a very young age, if her family keeps her alive, her son will know her 🙂

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, honey…I know that something like this is never easy for anyone…three weeks ago, my mother lost her best friend of 35 years to a rare intestinal disorder and it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to see her and my aunt (mom’s other BFF) go through…I can honestly say that although the pain never goes away, the grief eventually becomes easier to handle…
Just remember to take this time to lean on the people that are closest and most important to you and be there to support your friend’s family, who I’m sure are having a very hard time dealing with her death…you will get through this, I promise…if you ever need someone to talk to, please feel free to PM me…I’m a great listener/reader!
