Well, my wedding is 69 days away and I’m going to send out our invitations tomorrow, and it’s giving me major anxiety. I already suffer from anxiety on a day to day basis but this is just making it worse! Like, looking at the box of invitations sitting next to me is making my heart pound!
I’m not regretting the decision to get married or getting cold feet or anything, but sending out the invitations is one of those things that makes me go “Holy shit. This is really happening!” Does that makes sense? AND one of my biggest fears the whole way through planning has been “oh my god no one’s going to come!!” and now I’m really going to find out if I was right or not when people start sending back their rsvps. Ugh.
Did sending invitations make anyone else anxious?

@CarolinaCola: Totally makes sense! I’m sending mine out this week and am definitely feeling anxious about the wedding being super close now and all the planning coming together ok, people attending etc. I am normally quite a stress-head so this doesn’t surprise me though!

@Lollybags: Glad to know I’m not alone!!

Your feelings are perfectly normal! I cried my eyes out the day of my shower, and the next day after my graduation, we picked up the invitations. I had a complete meltdown that evening.

@Rubbs: Oh nooooo! I’m not at meltdown status yet, but I still have 69 days!

@CarolinaCola: I definitely got anxiety, but mine was about the invitations themselves. A few things weren’t great, and I’m worried about my RSVP format not being clear enough. Eventually I just threw up hands up in the air and shoved them in the mail. Having them done gave me a tremendous sense of relief, even though I was not happy about them before they were done!

@CarolinaCola: hahahaha!!! I am dying laughing reading your post bc I feel like I am reading something I wrote. I was the same exact way. I got done with assembling my invites, stamping, and addressing invites and they were in the bkx ready to go and I just sat there abd was like this is it.. holy shit… then i started getting crazy thinking omg what if no one gdts their invite?
Relax…..everything is going to be ok…yes i know its easier said than done. But take it from your twin…haha..its gonna be fineeee

@Andthepupmakes3: I’m a little worried about my RSVPs too! I didn’t do the traditional will attend/will not attend lines. They say “Wouldn’t miss it for the world” and “Will celebrate from afar.” That seemed really cute when I first got them but now I’m a little worried that people won’t understand.
@Daizy914: That’s super funny! I’m trying my best to be calm right now.
