Our pastor asked us to send 3 or 4 “I love” sentences about each other…here are mine:
What I love about Fiance is….the way he randomly sings or busts out some dance moves wherever we may be… at our apt, at the grocery store, in the car, wherever!
What I love about Fiance is….he is so laid back, yet gives me his undivided attention when I am worried or stressed about something. He always knows the right thing to say to put it all in perspective.
What I love about Fiance is….his witty sense of humor. He knows what to say/do to make me laugh, even if I’m having a bad day.
What I love about Fiance is….he knows how much I despise winter and being cold, so he will go outside and clean off my car after it snows and warm it up for me before I leave in the mornings.
What I love about Fiance is….how lets me win games every once in awhile (board games, a game of PIG (basketball), even though he would normally school me.
Should I take anything out or change anything?

So is this for your pastor to get to know Fiance and perhaps work in some of these into your ceremony or is this for you marriage counseling?
I like them all btw 🙂

Its for him to get to know us. He just started at our church in July & this will be our first time meeting him face to face. He wants to make the ceremony personal.

The winter one is my favourite. This is such a great thing for your pastor to do. I love all of your “I love” list! What a great way for him to get to know you and what you want.

I think those are good! You pastor will be able to relate them to the two of you and the dynamic of your relationship.
And I’ve done something similar, but as a gift to Fiance on our big day. I’ve made abook with custom reasons why I love him 🙂
Here’s a page (not to threadjack…)

I think these statements are exactly what your pastor was looking for.
@Mrs.tobe: That’s a great idea. I may have to make my own book of “I love…” statements.
