I would go and try both MAC and Sephora to see which you like more. MAC is a bit heavier, but it looks really good photographed, but Sephora has lots more options. I kind of feel like you can't go wrong with these two. About a friend doing your make up, personally for me I wouldn't trust it, unless you're a professional you have less skill and practice of doing someone else's make-up so as good as their make up looks, it doesn't always look the same on you.

I am debating on what to do right now with my make up for my bridal portraits and for the actual wedding day. I am not sure which would be better to have someone do my make up at...Sephora or MAC or should I just have a friend do it. I do wear make up and know how to apply it but I want someone who can do it way better than I ever could. Any opinions would greatly be appreciated! Thanks!
