I can't believe I'm down to 3 months! I feel like I'm finally starting to get everything in order and figure out exactly what I need to do and by when. I just figured out over the weekend that I have every weekend booked between now and my wedding. Yikes! I get overwhelmed with it, but overall I am really excited!! Next on the list for me is printing and sending invitations and starting my DIY projects!

My invitations will be going out next week if everything goes as planned - and I can't wait!!  They have been, by far, the biggest and most stressful wedding-related project thus far.  If I could do it all over again, I would NOT have DYId them!  Oh well...

Once we get them in the mail, we just have small details to take care of:  Continue collecting things for centerpieces, finalizing ceremony, making a ring pillow, etc.  Phew!

Frantically trying to get my invitations together... I never knew it would be so involved!! To line the envelopes or not line, how to seal the envelopes, how to word things, oh gosh I ran out of paper and the craft store closes in 20 minutes, do I want regular postage stamps or custom, etc etc.

    Sorry, slightly frazzled.

Also trying to get my behind to the gym. That is not going well :P

Like many of you, I'm working on the invitations.  I sent the out of state and country ones this morning.  My cute little invites will cost $0.81 just because of a stupid bow on them.  Can you believe them?  LOL  Anywho, the rest will be going out next week...but I don't like the idea of sending them out around 4th of July though.

Besides that, I need to finish up adding ribbon to our fans (ceremony outside...will be hot).  I've purchased the favors (olive oil bottles), will add the olive oil a few weeks before the wedding.  I'm waiting patiently to hear that my dress has come in.  Even though, I have 2 months, it makes me nervous that it hasn't come in yet.  Since I'm on summer vacation (I'm a teacher), I'm worried about eating too much or gaining more weight.  So I decided sign up with a trainer this week.

On top of all of that, I need to go apartment hunting early next week in San Diego for my FI and me.   And lastly getting ready for my FH's homecoming after a 6 month deployment.

Boy, I sure feel good letting all of that out. Thanks!!

I'm hoping to get my invitations out next week too. I was a little worried about the July 4th date, but I don't want to send them the week after!

Favors are done, decorations for the ceremony are done, and mostly for the reception. Need to finish OOT bags and some paper signs, etc. for the reception.  Other than that, feeling good!

I just picked up my invitations from the calligrapher today! They are so beautiful! My handwriting sucks beyond belief so this was they way to do it and I am so glad that I did.

I just picked up my wedding dress! It's too big! I haven't dieted or exercised anymore than I normally do! I hope that my alterations turn out well.

I finished my favors last weekend.

I bought the ring bearer's pillow and flower girl basket.

Oh--I think most of it is done. It's just little details that I can drive myself batty with but I guess it's okay.

I hate my shoes. Now that I have my dress, I need new ones. I feel stupid to waste money on the ones I bought. I hate that feeling. Yucky.

Yeah. I'm happy. One more hotel to book for the honeymoon in Peru.

    It's all coming along!

I'm going to address my invites this weekend and mail them the first week of July.  I got lots of little things to do like get ceremony decorations, put together the menu cards/table numbers, spray paint bird cage, book rental car for honeymoon, get jewelry for wedding day, help my mom find some shoes, go for hair and makeup trial, go for 2nd fitting, etc.

The little details are driving me crazy!

Wow -- I feel a little behind!!! We're finalizing our invites - hope to get them out in a week or two. Putting up our website next week, working on centerpieces -- it's slowly but surely coming together! And what doesn't get done....well, I'll just have to deal with it!!!!

Definately starting to freak out... We are getting the invitations ready, will probably mail them mid-July.  We have started working on some of the diy favors and oot gift bags.  On the low side though...We don't have a rehearsal dinner location or guest list and have none of our key reception songs picked.  I haven't had my dress altered or bought any hair accessories/jewelry..

I am also working on my invitations. I hope to have them in the mail in about a week or so. I'm also trying to figure out what to do for flowers and centerpieces. We have got to get my fiance a suit and get our wedding bands. Other than that, we are sitting pretty good.

Starting to feel frazzled. There is SO much to do on the to do list and the FI and I can't decide on some of the songs... AAAH

We sent ours out already, but we're at the beginning of Sept and most of our guests are out of town.

Yeah I'm on the same page as many of you and am starting to worry about my list.  I'm hoping to finalize invite design this weekend and then get those babies out asap.  There are so many diy projects on my list I'm not sure why I keep delaying.

Ugh, I feel behind.  No dress, no invites (but they're in the works), no shoes.  There is evidence of half-finished projects all over my house!  But I have made some significant progress in other areas:  ceremony music picks are coming along!  Moo cards ordered!  The groom's wardrobe (almost) finished!

Hey Girls! I am freaking out too!! We have NO centerpieces yet and I need to build 20 +. That is my biggest concern besides the size of the guest list right now.

I honestly cannot wait to be married! Let the celebration begin!

PS: I sent out the invites at lunch on Wednesday and my guests received them Thursday morning! Yippee!

Wow, look at you organized bees! I've got my dress ordered, alterations scheduled, but we don't have our invitations yet. I plan to have them printed in the next two weeks. I'm partially DIYing them! We've gotten a lot accomplished thus far, but it honestly pales in comparison to all we still have YET to do. Sigh. Time seems to be slowly passing by, but at the same time, I just feel overwhelmed by all we still have left to tackle (creating centerpieces, baking goodies for the dessert buffet, narrowing down our DJ list, printing and mailing the invitations, ordering the chair covers, ordering the cake). I need an Ativan just thinking about it!

Hello twin 9/5/09 brides + others! September '09 Brides... How you doin'? : wedding september 2009 Icon Biggrin

We've got almost all our attire and our decor is being taken care of by a florist so there's nothing major to do. I am taking a break until August because... I am planning out of town (wedding in my hometown, I live abroad) and so will get most things done when I arrive back in New York 3 weeks before the wedding.

In those last 3 weeks, I'm planning to get my dress altered, package favors, prepare thank you cards, make escort cards and table numbers, prepare ceremony text, prepare song list, and arrange all the day-of details. I'm sure there are tons of things I forgot but I am not too worried about it.

    Good luck to everyone!

Ok I feel better about everything now. I thought I was overzealous in getting my invites out next week but I see that I am right on track. It has been a flurry of activity the past two weeks with ordering paper for the programs, designing the program (something I decided to take on last minute to save a little money and also I now feel comfortable with my Photoshop- Mac Pages skills), finalizing table decor .... the list could go on.

I think the biggest anxiety I've had the past couple of weeks is worry over the cost. We are having an early afternoon brunch reception for ~45 guests. We thought that this would be an economical choice but we are on track to spend twice as much as we originally planned when we first started planning. While I love everything I chose I just feel some guilt in spending so much when that money could have gone to other things we have on our list to do. My fiance has had to talk me down a couple of times and remind me that we are blessed to be able to pay for the wedding and that we are truly going to have a wonderful day.

Here are pics of our invite. I got inspiration from Mrs.Cupcake's programs.

My invites were done by Lauren Brown Studio. I came to her with the idea and she executed it beautifully!

    Hello fellow September '09 brides!

I'm going to the Post Office today to buy stamps for our invitations (which we're mailing next week! Yikes!), Thank You's, shower Thank You's and announcements, etc). Hopefully they won't give me grief about them and hopefully they have all the ones I want/need! I have to get .64 stamps because of a tiny bump! Oh well, what can ya do, right? September '09 Brides... How you doin'? : wedding september 2009 Icon Razz

All big things are taken care of, just lots of checks to write in the coming weeks, plus all my "little" projects (table markers, memorial candles, seating chart, making Thank You cards, etc) plus getting ready for a vacation at the end of next month (we're not going on a honeymoon).

Today I have to call the booze store (I can't spell the L word and what spell check is coming up with doesn't look right! LOL), order boxes for our centerpieces, call my Aunt about a picture of my grandparents and deposit a check so we can pay our next payment for the caterer. UGH!

I'm not stressed out yet (Knocks on wood) but I will be soon though! Thank goodness next weekend is a long weekend for me! Do any of you ladies have off the 3rd for Independance Day?

hey ladies! i must admit that I'm getting a bix anxious as well. I've gotten a lot done, but there is still so much to do. My dress is in and the alterations are in progress. The invitations are in the mail. But, I have to finalize programs and music, make oot bags, get gifts for parents and the wedding party, pick linens, finalize favors... all the little things add up to be a lot!

I sent out my invitations a few months ago!  Now I am worried that I sent them too early since you all say that you are only doing yours now.  But how do you know how to plan how many of everything to get if you haven't received the replies?

I did them myself, my fiance made a drawing of little bugs and some flowers, and a funny map. I scanned it in and arranged it in Illustrator and printed them out on our home computer.  And I bought a calligraphy pen and wrote out all of the addresses.  It looked pretty good though not totally professional. It was really fun, I'm so glad we DIY'd it together!

I JUST mailed my invites! And nearly had a nervous breakdown at the post office. After four maddening visits to various postal centers I was told I needed 78 cent stamps for them. I ordered them off Zazzle because I couldn't take the post office anymore. I bring them in today they inform me that because they need hand cancelling it is another 20 cents. I almost cried. But the lovely wonderful wonderful postal man talked to his boss and agreed to do them and waive the fee. I nearly kissed him....

I've got tons of little things to finalize: finish the favor boxes, finish making the favors, escort cards, menus, gifts, finalize the ceremony etc. It makes my head spin how long all of the little things tak to do!

Yikes! I just checked my countdown and realized I've only got 78 more days! I'm fretting that not everything is going to come together in time! Our families had decided to make all the food for the wedding. My fiance and I were very hesitant at first because we didn't want them to work. But they insisted and they plan was to hire a couple people to manage the buffet. Now my FMIL is worried that we won't be able to find anyone to serve, so she is looking into catering. She has said that she will pay, which is great because it is not in our budget! When I was working, I thought we could pay but now I'm not and we can't. Anyway, the caterer she's talked to says there is plenty of time, but I'm still worried.

Oh, I am so glad I saw this strand!  I feel so much better knowing that everyone else is in the same place we are.

I was motivated by Miss D'orsay's post with the downloadable timeline, so my FI and I sat down to make a plan for the next three-ish months...and it really, really helped.  I feel better knowing that a) we have a system to track our to-do list and b) we can look ahead to what needs to be done and stay on track.  If anyone would like to see our Master Task List, I'm happy to share.

Thankfully I have July 3rd off work and the following weekend is my FI's ManVenture / Bachelor party.  I'm hoping to get lots of projects done!

Good luck, bees!  It will all come together!

I'm surprisingly laid back. I am late Sept. so I guess I have a little extra time. I plan on getting my invitations out in the next two weeks if all goes as planned. They are all designed and ready to be printed!

My dress still hasn't come in but isn't scheduled to until August. I'm so glad I lied to the dress shop and told them my wedding was Sept. 5, otherwise I'd be starting to freak out over whether it was going to be in in enough time for me to get it altered.

I'm a little nervous about my Favors, because they are edible and I can't order them until three weeks before the wedding, and the boxes I'm making for them I have to wait til the last minute, or how I am I going to carry all those (made) on the plane without wrecking them?

Destination is rough, I tell you!

I got my first three RSVP's back in the mail yesterday :) Finally something in the mail other than bills! My FI is printing ceremony program covers today, I'm not printing the inside pages for a few more weeks, just in case anything changes.

I get to go for my second fitting in 2 weeks (on my birthday)! So I'm super excited to see how well it fits now, maybe the top won't look like it's 3 sizes too big! I'm finally starting to get excited, it is all starting to seem real!

I'm really in good shape, most of what we have left to do is the small stuff. This week I'm focusing on our RD invites, as my FMIL just put the deposit down on Monday! Our invitations came in two weeks ago, they'll be going out on 7/26, two months prior to the day.

I mainly need to decide on my accessories, buy the gifts for my maids and parents, and get my butt into shape! I'm really not worrying about things. Whatever I don't get done before the day, oh well, not a loss.

Yikes - 65 days! And... big snafu with the invites. I was planning on mailing them out this week... But, that won't be happening! We got them back from the printer and they aren't lined up properly so now they have to be reprinted! And they are letterpress... so that means one more week.  Thankfully, the envelopes are ok - so I'm starting the addresses now.

    Now I feel the pressure!
