September 15 wedding. I can lose weight by then, right?! RIGHT?!?!

Hi fellow Aussie bee!

I was struggling to lose weight too. I had wanted to lose 15kg but i have only lost 7.5Kg over a 10 month period.

I have 3 weeks left and i think i could lose maybe another 1.5Kg and thats it.

My weight loss was quite slow but i minimised my carbohydrate intake (only ate multigrain, brown etc and only in the morning) and i started Bikram yoga.

I do bikram yoga 3 or 4 times a week and i pole dance once a week. Both are great for toning and weight loss. Obviously, pole dancing might not work for you with your injury but give yoga a go.

Omg, ME TOO! My wedding is right after yours and I want to lose 7-10 pounds! I was so busy the past three weeks though that I’ve totally failed with eating and working out!

 

Why can’t the weight just fall off of us? Do you have a plan or anything?

@perfectingfaith:  You can do this! I was trying to loose 15 Lbs since january but only lost 10Lbs so far and my weight has been a yoyo for most part. Starving yourself is not the way as you will eventually binge and all goes to hell.

 

What started working for me is weights or even my own body weight. Planks and push ups. And not eating carbs at dinner and avoiding wine and all alcoholic beverages. Drinking lots of water and staying in aprox 1200 calories per day. Eating lots of protein too. Every morning i have a boiled egg with a bagel and cheddar cheese and it keeps me full till lunch. Then I have little carbs and meat protein. Then for dinner i stick with light salad and meat protein. 

Try it for a week and see how youre feeling.

Then every morning do a plank for as long as you can and as many push ups as you can. Also the back pushups (Dips) for the triceps are a must if you want a nice definition while in your dress.

I’m sure you can.  I’ve got to try and do the same thing and my wedding is the day before yours.

It’s so hard though to be good when there is so much to do, but yeah, I’m sure it’s possible.

You’ll be fine loosing 4kg until september. You could probably do it in a month if you are just a little careful.

OP,  yes of course you can do it!! Youre right, 4kg for sept?..approx 1.33kg per month… Youll piss all over it!! key is diet diet diet!! (: good luck im sure you dont need it x

I’m with you! Sep 21st here and I need to lose about 10 pounds 🙁 I went on a medication that caused weight gain and i put on 10+ pounds since February. I finally just came off it, so hopefully with my regular exercise routine and a healthy diet things will get back to normal! We can totally do this!

p90x.  It will change your life.  And completely change your body by Sept 15.  I promise.  Just as long as you follow the food guide and set aside one hour per day.  Trust me, if you start crash dieting now, you will look the same by your wedding day.  You do one round of P90X and you will be a different person.

 

Tried and true.

@perfectingfaith:  Well I have Jillian Michaels Body Revolution but I don’t do the food plan and I just kind of do the workouts when I can lol. Like I haven’t really done them much the past few weeks because I’ve been busy. My parents also have an elliptical that I use.

 

Its just the food for me though. I LOVE to eat food. I love chips and pizza and cheese and bread. Not to mention I drink wine every night.

 

Maybe we should be friends and motivate each other?!

@MissDarthVader:  Let’s hope we loose the pounds right before the wedding like a lot of brides do lol I am with you on those 7-10 lbs…we can do it!

Also, Turbo Jam is kinda amazing! I did that with a mix of running 4-5 days a week and was in pretty good shape. Gotta jump back on it!

I’m in the same boat! 4kg would be probably all I need to get just that little bit smaller for my dress! I mean it fits now, but I have back fat… 

 

Unfortunately I don’t know HOW to lose weight, cos when I’ve eaten really healthy and exercised every day in the past, I stayed the exact same weight as if I was pigging out on donuts and sitting on the couch all day.
