I'm getting married on September 18th, 2010 in Huntington Beach, CA. We signed the contract with the venue in early April and also have our photographer booked. Like other DIYers. I love that the long engagement allows for a bunch of fun projects!
I'm getting married on September 18, 2010 in Pittsburgh, PA! We've also booked the church, reception hall and photographer. I can't wait to get started on my invitations this summer. 
I'm a September 18, 2010 bride as well! We're getting married at one of the park sites here in San Diego.

We considered Sept 18 but it is Yom Kippur. We actually will only have one Jewish guest in attendance, but out of consideration for that single person, we chose not to have it then. We went with Sept 25 instead.
lol I didn't even realize it was Yom Kippur...um...I don't think we have any Jewish guests so far...but I don't know that for sure. Oh my....
I'm getting married September 18th 2010 and cannot wait. September is my favorite month of the year and we wanted to give ourselves plenty of planning time (and saving!). We have the venue, photographer, DJ, and JoP booked.
We have the following planned: ceremony/reception venue, photographer, music, invites, dress, bridesmaid dresses, flowers/decor
Still need to do: menu, rentals, guest list, and probably another 1000 odds and ends! :)
I technically have everything planned (in my head and wedding planner) LOL. I am just waiting to be able to actually do it without looking crazy. I am just so excited!!!

Have any of guys started dress shopping yet? I've been putting it off because I think it may be too early, but I cannot wait to get started! We also have our Chapel, reception site and photographer booked. We have our first tasting at the catering place next month!

I'm a Sept 18th, 2010 bride too!! I already have my venue, caterer, and photographer. I have also started dress shopping, it's never too soon! You only have 1+ year to try on wedding gowns...live it up! Congratulations ladies!!
I am also a 09/18/2010 bride! So far we have the chapel, venue and caterer. I to have the photographer soon (it's between 2). I have also started dress shopping and am going on Sat, but this is really due to the fact that my mom lives 700 miles away and will be in town visiting. So excited though!
Hi ladies! After 10.5 hours of waiting in line over night, FI and I booked Clarke Estate in Santa Fe Springs, CA yesterday. It was definitely worth it. Some of our friends thought we were crazy, but the venue is first come first served on the first of the month for the following year! So excited to finally start the real planning now! :)
Not a date twin, but it's my birthday! Therefore it must be an awesome day. ;)
The FI and I *just* set the date a few days agoo for the 18th, and I'm so excited! Now that we have a date, I really feel like we're actually getting married! I only have the venue at this point but can't wait to start trying on some dresses. =)
We are considering this date!! Depends on if we can get our venue.
I'm September 18, 2010 in San Francisco! We have the church and reception site (which is a restaurant so I guess I can say we have the caterer too!). Will probably start trying on dresses after the holidays. Already stressing about the guest list though...
September 18 2010 here too, on Hilton Head Island, SC. We have the ceremony/reception venue, a photographer, and I just bought my dress!
hey bees!=) i'm also a september 18 2010 bride tooo!! it's less than a year away! can you believe it!? so far we have our ceremony site/reception site, photographer, officiants, dress, and in the process of choosing our videographer..good luck girls=) it's gonna fly by!!!

i've got our venue, church, photographer, dress, and BM dresses. :) and all of the other things i've already narrowed the list of vendors, just need to book them in the coming months! :D

We started planning early and will finish up by Jan (hopefully) but I'm wondering, when are you sending out invitations? Is the 2 month rule legit or outdated?

September 18th vow renewal (it's the wedding we never had!) in Chicago for our 10 year wedding anniversary 
We have the venue, catering, DJ, photo/video, florist, make up artist, all accounted for. I am a DIY girl (an interior designer by trade) and already started several projects! I am so excited that there are so many of us! How cool.
9/18/10 is our top choice for a date. I guess we better firm it up soon so we can get started planning
