Hi girls! I am due 8/31 by LMP or 9/1 by O date. So I am straddling the months!

@MrsMaskatoBe: I think I really belong here too.. :) I'm probably gonna be Sept 2. Are you having any symptoms yet? I just have sore breasts and weird crampies (that after consulting Dr. Google may be Round Ligament Pain?!)
I can't get in to my doc for a blood test until Dec 26, kind of bummed on that! But we are experiencing Snowpocalypse 2012 right now in the midwest, so I'm glad I dont have to leave the house today.
It's fun seeing the new boards pop up each month! I hope to be in this board in 2 years....for some reason I really want a September baby. Congrats and a H&H 9 months to all!
@HeyCorgi: yay!! We can be co founders! Haha. Girl I'm tired, crampy off and on, and thirsty! Omg. I wish my boobs would grow! Care to share? Haha. I was a little dizzy last night but I think that was bc of my progesterone pills. My doc isn't seeing me until Jan 17. Grrr. I know my tests are getting darker though and i confirmed with a digital. How are you feeling?? Did you tell hubs?

I am having minor symptoms.. pulling/cramping & tender breasts. I go to the doc on Dec 26 but I don't think I'll get an ultrasound then, just a blood test and maybe an exam. I have still been doing my cheap tests and they are slooowly getting darker!

Hello friends! I'm gonna play here, I think. My EDD is 8/27/13, but based on ovulation it is 9/1/13. Is anybody telling family yet?
@Steinberg: I'm debating. Part of me wants to wait until our first ultrasound to see if the babe is healthy, because I felt like I let them down last time when I was pg. then part of me wants to tell them so that they can be supportive if something were to happen. Idk what to do. What about you?
@Steinberg: I have told my husband and my best girlfriend. I think we are going to wait until the new year and possibly after the first ultrasound to make sure everything is in the right place! This will be the first grandbaby on my side and so I know my mom will FLIP. It will be the second grandbaby on my husband's (we have a two month old nephew. He may or may not have kickstarted the TTC fever!!) Although it would be the perfect surprise at Christmas, it's just too early. :(
@MrsMaskatoBe: we're telling immediate family at Xmas. Neither of us are very good at keeping secrets, so we're just gonna tell. I decided I would want the support, too, if anything happened.
Its very exciting, but totally scary to tell ppl because it makes this way more real. I haven't even accepted it yet. :)
@Steinberg: we told my parents last night. They are super excited! We will tell FI's parents New Years!
My husband talked me into telling our parents at christmas.. since the opportunity won't happen again. :) I went and got "I love you gma/gpa" bibs this morning to wrap up!
Are you guys still temping or doing tests? I'm still doing the cheap internet tests in the morning and they are getting progressively darker :) I did put the thermometer away though. I hated doing that every morning!
@HeyCorgi: The thermometer is gone! :) I keep POAS and the line is getting darker, so hoping this is a sticky baby.

Hey ladies, I'm tentatively joining in over here. I just got my positive digi this morning. My temps are relatively low but still above the coverline so I'm hoping it's a sticky one. I haven't told DH yet, I'm going to test again in the morning and if its still positive I'm going to slip the test into his stocking. I'm so excited to join you ladies! :)

we had round 1 of Christmas last night. My DH had to work so I was surrounded by his family alone who are big drinkers. I'm known to indulge so its was so hard keep lying to everyone about why I stuck to water. We aren't ready to tell yet but it's killing me!!
@lroetheli: Omg I know how you feel! But it's real! I've only taken digitals so I'm going to buy a FRER tomorrow just to see how dark the line is lol. And I had the same issue about not partaking with DH's family last night but luckily I am on antibitics so I had a legit excuse.
@MrsMaskatoBe: Beautiful dark line!! I want to get FRER's right now so I can see how dark my line is! Now I wish I had some wondfos around the house...

I haven't gotten any FRER's yet, but I had the urge to POAS tonight and all I have are opk's. I've heard that when you're PG, your opk will become positive, so I decided to test that theory. Woot! ;)

So I got this from the August mamas and thought it would be a nice get to know each other type thing.
When did you find out and how?
Christmas Eve, I was 15dpo and still hadn't seen AF. I thought she was right around the corner until my temp didn't drop that morning and then I was hopeful. While my DH was running errands (buying last minute Christmas gifts lol), I ran to the store and grabbed a package of digitals. I had already taken tests on 10 dpo and 12 dpo, both BFN's so I was shocked when it said 'Pregnant'.
When is your due date, known or expected?
FF says EDD Sept 1.
Do you have any other children?
Yep, a little boy who just turned 4 in November.
How did you tell your partner?
I slipped the positive digi in his sticking and waited until Christmas morning. Boy was that hard! But he was so surprised and happy, he just kept saying "really?" "is this for real?". It was one of the most special moments of my life. :)
What are you looking forward to in your pregnancy?
Just being pregnant again, but actually enjoying it this time since it was planned.
Any fears?
All the normal ones, but I try not to focus on the negative. But I'm really afraid that I'm going to gain a lot of weight though so I am going to eat as healthy as possible and still work out on our elliptical. I gained 50 lbs with my son and I'm not going to let that happen again!
@MrsMaskatoBe: Haha thanks! I still want to get some FRER's. My DH thinks I am addicted and I have to agree lol.
@lroetheli: I know I always wondered too! I don't know if it holds true for everyone but I thought it was kind of interesting and I really wanted to POAS lol.
@MrsMonty11: I know the feeling about just wanting to POAS. I've done it every day since Sunday!! but I did use my digi today and I'm still pregnant! lol

I found out 12/23. My temp went up again, and I kind of had a feeling anyways. I'm already getting nauseous if I wait to eat, so that was my biggest symptom. I used a Wondfo first, and when I saw a faint line, I confirmed with a FRER.
When is your due date, known or expected?
FF says EDD Sept 5, 1 day before our 8yr anniversary (even though my DH says it doesn't count anymore since we're married! lol)

no, this will be our first!
How did you tell your partner?
my husband and I are HORRIBLE about keeping presents a secret, we had already given eachother our gifts last week. We were laying in bed Sun morning, and I snuggled over to him and told him I got him 1 more present but he couldn't have it for awhile. He of course through a fit, and when I told him, he was completely shocked!! It was exactly the reaction I was hoping for!

Any fears?
I had a CP in Sept, so I'm terrified of that happening again. my tests continue to get darker, and I didn't get positives this many days in a row last time, so I think this is for real! I'm also scared of gaining too much weight.
@lroetheli: My BFF is pregnant too, about 17 weeks now! How weird that we're both pregnant with our BFF's. Love it!
