In no particular order:

– Design invitations

– Finalize our rentals (tent, chairs, etc.)

– Figure out our timeline. (We are using a vacation home rental for the weekend as our venue, and since there are no specific hours for us to use the venue we can procrastinate on this.)

– Figure out our ceremony

– Pick a processional song

– Find a cake baker and decide on other desserts

– Buy fabric for my dress (my mom is making it)

– Find some shoes

– Decide on some kind of rehearsal dinner plan

– Figure out decorations

(I could go on and on. In fact, now that I’m thinking about it, I’m starting to feel panicky…)

@erikaklemm2013 I am going to send mine in June too, if it reassures you!

OK…This month I have appointment with florist, and thanks to a wonderful Bee I discovered Cabbage flowers as Peonies are not in on my wedding date…grumble.

Got to go and see about the cake and try some flavours. I personally think chocolate of some type will win thru as my man LOVES chocolate. I kind of want something unusual…so we will see ๐Ÿ™‚

Got to find a hairdresser. I am getting married on a Sunday! So it will have to be a mobile hairdresser!

Dress arrives around May..YAY!!!!!…I have lost heaps of weight…:( That might not be good…

I am trying not to think about LOL… there’s still so much left to do ๐Ÿ™

We still have to decide on a cake, invitations and wedding rings. And ALL the ‘nitty gritty’ stuff like shoes, jewellery, centerpieces, chair covers/sashes, wedding music, vows, lingerie, honeymoon night, honeymoon, dress modifications, gifts, and my 2nd Bridesmaid or Best Man hasn’t even gotten her dress or is even thinking about it until she gets further into her pregnancy and sees how big her boobs will get (??)…… it’s a little overwhelming to be honest. (I think we’re going to leave a lot of the nitty gritty stuff until a few months prior).

– get my jewelry and shoes

– get invitations printed

– get a bolero for my mom (I’ve found someone to make it and need to order fabirc samples)

– order croquembouche

– order guestbook print

– order ties + pocket squares for my fiance and family members

– order desserts for the tea after the ceremony

– meet with the priest and musician to go over the details of the ceremony

I’m sure I’m forgetting plenty of other small things… hopefully nothing large.

Ok….hyperventilating! Its easier to list what I’ve done:

Booked Photographer

Booked Florist

Chosen dress (mums) alterations start in April

Purchased lingerie

Organised wedding cake (friend is baking it)

….that’s it! eeek!

I’ve had trouble booking our reception and ceremony location; people seem to keep putting us on the back burner because it ‘all the way in September’- are you kidding??!!

But I’m going to call the church today to see if a decision has been made. Also we are looking through a beautiful venue on the 22nd, so hopefully we will sign on the dotted line that day!
