It feels like I just started the other post about only 5 months to go. Anything new going on?
I finally ordered my shoes, veil, headband and charm kit.
We just got a new car and I’m kind of freaking out about being able to pay for the wedding too, but getting to work is a little more important at this point – and my other car died friday. =(
I looked over my budget again and there ARE things I can chang and/or take out completely to make everything work. So I guess no worries (?) LOL. Yeah.. Like Im not gonna worry anyway though!

I don’t think you can help but worry a lil bit. I still have so much to do. Thinking I should order invites soon..

haha there’s so many factors that you can’t control and can’t plan for….. just don’t stress so much that you ruin your experience

I got my dress, veil, and I know what shoes and jewellry I want I just have to order them.
Tomorrow I am going shopping for a dress to wear to my shower.
In 2 weeks we are going wine tasting to decide what to order (we can bring our own booze, and are getting local wine)

4 months! So exciting! I just made a list of stuff I still have to buy or figure out, and shockingly, it’s not THAT long. It’s more figuring out logistical stuff: what things do I have to do the week before the wedding and what day am I doing each thing, putting together a day-of schedule and packet for all the vendors, wedding party, and family. And then I still have to figure out gifts for the parents and BMs. But I actually feel in GREAT shape which is such a relief.

four more months! I am most worried about getting fit. So my diet is starting again. I know its a little late.

I’m jealous! I’m Sept. 21st, 2013. I’m so excited for you ladies!

Wow I jsut realized I have 4 months from today even though I have been planning for 1 month. I don’t need much to do. Ordering dress this week (I fell in love with a bridesmaid dress), send invites, get the food, drinks, and make 3 bouquets.

@mkim: not too late at all! i’m starting to go on a healthy kick this week too. i don’t have a lot of weight to lose, but want to get a little more toned. i’m thinking about doing p90x– we have more than 90 days left, afterall. i’ve done about 50 days of it before and it got me in great shape just from that.

I want to get more toned as well. Its just my hips/waist area. It wont be enough to have to alter my dress, but I am so working on it just so I look a little less crazy hourglass.
I’ve been having some serious dress regret lately, to the point where I’m so nervous Lance will think I look stupid in my dress, I’ve asked him to look at the picture of me in it and tell me what he thinks.. Naturally he declined that offer.
I can’t help but think that maybe I should have got an a-line dress or ball gown. Instead of my hip huggy Jenna dress. I did look here on the Bee and there were a lot of “plus size” or “thick” (as one post called it) girls wearing the same style or even in the jenna, and they looked so confident.
Even when I posted my dress in a thread on here everyone said it looked really good. So WHY on earth am I doing this to myself so close to the wedding?!
Whoa, sorry for the small emotional rant. LOL.

are any of you girls NOT having a shower or a bachelorette party? I’m not.
@misskarianne: I live 5,000 miles from the closest of my BMs or family, so no, no shower or bachelorette party for me. I’m a little sad, but there’s not really any way around it in my situation. Too expensive for me to travel back to the east coast before the wedding. My sister is organizing something the Thursday night before the wedding, but I’ve requested no gifts (I’d have to get them back to Hawaii which is a huge pain) and nothing crazy/drunk/raunchy (it’ll be all the females invited to the wedding who want to come, so include random aunts and stuff), so it’ll be more of a few hours girls/womens dinner out than either a shower or bachelorette party.
PS. I think everyone on here has dress regret at some point or another. I’ve had it pretty major, and been on the verge of calling my dress store to cancel the order. But I think they key is to NOT look at other dresses and to remember that your wedding will be awesome and you will look awesome whatever you wear, and there was a reason you chose that dress in the first place.
