I feel like the wedding has snuck up on me I cant believe its a month away, Im stressing my dress is not back from alterations. I hope it fits, passport has not arrived, neither has his ring, card box is not done....oh yeah and Im moving across the country. One month and normal life is back...i dont think ill know what to do with out all of this wedding stress...what is normal life like?? haha
Haha I feel the same way - on top of wedding stuff I have finals, finding a new job, moving, and I honestly can't wait until we are married and things can be sort of normal (besides looking for a job and unpacking).
Im glad im not the only one who feels this way!! Oh yeah i have to find as well. I cant believe its a month away, do you have a lot of things to do for the wedding still?
They're all little things, but yes - and I feel as though the little things are the most stressful.
I took a calendar and planned everything out so I'm hoping that helps but I'm worried that once my family starts arriving I will be so distracted I might fall behind :S
And I know - it's crazy! My cousin just got married and it feels like only yesterday she posted "21 days"... It's just going to fly by!
Good call on planning everything out. I need to do that as well. Good luck with finals!!!
@ceamoste: definitely shitting!
I also feel i can't really move ahead on planning as I need a head count before I can book food and transport and more infor from vendors and that's stressfull. No ones replying! So argh stress.
What are you going to do about people who have not RSVPed, are you going to call and ask if they are coming? I am trying to decide what to do
I'm freaking out. I feel like I have to so much to do and still have vendors to pay. I'm going crazy. seriously trying not to throw up as I write this. I feel so nervous! I hate being the center of attention!
HELP!!! what can I do to keep calm. Someone enlighten me please!!!!!
@kfraztobe: For the people that have not RSVP'ed, I called them Last week and confirmed with them. I also had my mother call and tell them that if they don't respond by this week, I will assume they are declining. I will not fret over this!!!! LOL
I haven't even started confronting non-RSVP'ers. Most of them are my parents friends, and I am not going to take on that stress. Once I'm done exams I'm handing my parents a list, and saying that if I don't get answers by such a date then they're not coming.
So i started confronting my non RSVPers. I feel like a couple of them are avoiding me and if not I got the oh i forgot or i never got an invitation in the mail. GRRR I want a final head count so i can make my table assignments
@kfraztobe: I plan on making a 'second' RSVP date, and if they don't give me a definite answer by then, then they just aren't coming. We have a few non-replyers who are family members of FMIL, and she just keeps saying "We won't know". Well sorry, but you have to know.
If I care about you, then I'll cut you some slack, but if I've never met you then I honestly don't care.
This board has been really quiet! Are all the other September brides huddled in the corner wishing this will all go away? :D
The rest of us are going crazy running in circles! Just kidding, but really, Sept 3rd has kind of snuck up really quickly! I have to do lists and am almost done crossing things off. I want the week of to be as hassle free as possible.
As far as RSVP's go anyone who didn't RSVP on his side I sent to his Mom to call, the ones on my side to my Dad and our friends we talked to ourselves. We have responses now from almost everyone and those we don't we are considering as no's since we've tried to confirm multiple times with them now. So sorry if they show up, they will have to kill some time between ceremony and the dance- McDonald's is just down the road :)
Hey September 3rd girls. Well I dont know about you all but "bride brain" has kicked in for me. My friend told me that it gets to a point where you forget things and you cant make decisions. Speaking of forgetting, I forgot about center pieces, not entirely but I forgot to get the vases for them. I met with my DJ the other day to go over songs... poor guy kept asking me questions and I was pretty dead. But we got answers from everyone well mostly everyone we still have a few people who are like uhh i dont know yet. Which is lame. I might not do a seating chart because of that, except for reserved tables for family. How are you all this week? any big plans?
Hey September 3 ladies! Our day is almost here!!!! I am so ready and excited to be a married woman! I know what you mean about Bride Brain. It is so hard to consentrate at work, when I have more important things on my mind... like my wedding! ;0)
Where are you all going on your honeymoon?
We're taking a 3-day honeymoon at the beach about 2 hours away, then returning home to move into our new house! Beach + honeymoon at home, sounds lame in writing but I'm super excited about it.

How excited are you?
I am literally shitting my pants. I cannot believe that in one month I will be getting married! And there's still so much to do.
Are you guys stressed/nervous at all? Or are things pretty much under control?
