I saw a post for September 18th which was our back up date and it got me thinking... Any September 4th, 2010 brides out there?
Really no September 14th brides? I'm all alone!? 
That's my date! I think it's perfect, basically. How far are you in to planning? I've got my venue and caterer and just started making photogtapher inquiries...
Yay another bride! I know I LOVE our date! We've planned our venue which comes with centerpieces, cake and food so that's a load off! I also just found our photographer. One of the bridal stores in town is having a sample sale so my mom is coming into town tomorrow to go with me. I think it's too early to pick a dress though!
I happen to be a Sept. 4th, 2010 bride, too!!! I love it! It has such a great ring to it!
Yay! I love it. Anyone else think the time is going by sooo slow?
I'm a Sept 4 2010 bride too! You ladies are way ahead of me though, we just finally picked our date today and haven't done a single thing besides that!
Um...yes! I wish it were HERE! We already picked a cake, photographer, Venue, and all that fun stuff. Not sure what to do flower wise, though...
me too!!! You girls make me feel like I am not that crazy lol. I already picked out my dress, my mom's dress, the bridesmaid dresses, the invites, found a place for tux rental,booked my hall and gazebo, picking up centerpiece supplies tomorrow, got my garter and toasting glasses, looking at photographers tomorrow, and looking at a dj and minister. I am glad you guys are planning so far ahead too :)
we're going to look at BM dresses on Sunday and Im showing my girls my dress that I'm 99% sold on! Woo hoo to planning ahead!
That's my birthday! We know we want it in September of 2010, but haven't decided on a "for sure" date yet. Good luck on your planning, girls!
I have my dress, too! haha. Plus, the BM's already have their guidlines for dresses. I am going in to David's Bridal with one of them Thursday to help her make a choice!
I even have a box set aside because I've been coming home with random candles and ribbon and all sorts of wedding related stuff! Nothing wrong with planning ahead since vendors book so far out!
I would be careful with Davud's Bridal! Everyone I know that has used David's Bridal has had issues with their dresses. Just fyi
I went there a couple years ago in WA, and when I got my dress here they were great. my FSIL also did not have any problems. = ) I've heard good and bad things. It just varies store to store and area.
Hi everyone, I've finally jumped out of my shy mode and wanted to say hello - I'm a Sept. 4, 2010 bride also! Hooray for Labor Day weekend! I'm hoping it'll convince some of the out-of-town guests to stay an extra day. Anyhow, looking forward to planning along with you all!

How are you two new ladies doing in your planning? Do you have much started?
So far, I have my venue and dress. I got those 2 less than a week after my engagement! There happened to be a Running of the Brides soon after we got engaged so I went just for fun and ended up finding my dress. Our venue was the first and only place we checked out. We loved it so much that we booked it right away. I hope everything else is just as easy to plan :D Working on the church now, I hope hope hope the date is open. I'll find out on the 20th *fingers crossed*

I'm a 9/4/10 bride too! We're getting married in Florida and wanted to give FI's family (who have never been there!) time to enjoy my home state. I do think time is creeping by. There's so many crafts I'm just itching to get started on. But since I live in Ohio, I have to think about how I'm going to get everything to Florida! I haven't tried on a single dress and we've been engaged since Memorial Day (we love us some holidays. LOL).
We've got the venue and the photographer booked so far. Both the ceremony and the reception will be at a farm just outside of town - we're really excited about it! There will be hayrides, petting the goats and llamas, corncob cannons, lawn games, and a bonfire to entertain the guests (and ourselves)!
I've tried on so many dresses and haven't found the right one yet. I am planning on wearing a J. Crew dress (I think) but haven't made it to the Chicago store to try them on yet. That is the part of wedding planning I wasn't expecting to be so difficult!
I'm a little slow on the uptake with this, but we're getting married Sept 4/10 too! I'm currently trying to figure out tent rentals...so expensive!
I got the church! Yay! Now it's really time to start my planning. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted but ever since the church became definite, I keep changing my mind! I dont know what I want anymore as far as colors, my dress (even though I already have one), hair, etc 
Haha. I had a hard time with colors, too! It took me awhile to nail them down...if I change them now I'm in trouble. haha. Congrats on getting the Church, cmm2179! That's a great start!
I've been struggling with colors as well. Fall-ish, I'm thinking, but I hate a lot of the shades I've seen in bridesmaids dresses. Difficult, difficult.
My MOH is wearing Champaigne and the BM's are wearing wine with an optional champaign sash depending on the dress they pick. We just went to David's Bridal.
another Sept 4th here too :) i have the ceremony site, reception cite, and of course the FH lol the attendants have been chosen too
next up - wedding dress shopping on the 14th of Nov with mom sister and a Bridesmaid.
then i can solidify the other things. Looking for photographers too :)

I'm going to look at my sample centerpices and ceremony flowers with my florist today!! I can't wait =D
So what are the rest of you guys still need to get?
Next on our list is cake! We're doing tastings in a few weeks. I'm also getting started on making the programs and escort cards.
I'm a September 4, 2010 bride too! Our wedding will be in Maryland and all my family is in Kansas. I thought the holiday weekend might make traveling a little easier on them. I'm with Ms. Bling, so excited and nervous all at once too. I'm having the hardest time deciding on bridesmaid dresses. Just want to find the perfect ones.

My wedding is Sept 4, 2010. yeah for Labor Day weekend. Im getting married in Punta Cana at the Dreams Palm Beach, already sent the STD (adorable boarding passes)
now i am working on dress, and its not going very well
