  • Wedding: September 2015 - Dog mushing cabin in a field by the woods

1. Your name: Ephy

2. Where are you located?: Alaska

3. Where are you gettig married?: Interior Alaska.

4. Your wedding theme (if any): I didn’t want a specific theme, but it’s vintage whimsical art nouveau with lots of gold and jewel tones. We’ve been collecting vintage glassware from thrift stores and from what I can tell our style will be more ‘boho’ than formal. I’ve been thinking about lighting contraptions more than anything.

5. Your wedding colors: Metallics and rich tones, bridesmaids will have navy or gray dresses. My fiance’s grandma has been at work making beautiful doillies in ecrus, black, coppers, blues, and greys.

6. Describe your venue: A dog mushing cabin with surrounding trails and woods. The cabin is one large room with an attached kitchen area. I want to have a fire outside, and maybe a little lounge area because the right-before-winter season will have people flocking outside for as long as possible.

7. Three words to describe your future spouse: Pleasant, funny, clever.
