we plan on sending ours about 8 weeks out, with the rsvp deadline of 4 weeks before the day. for us, this means sending them at the end of july for our 9/25 wedding. we've picked our invites out too, and ordered the stationary, but we still need to find a place to print them ourselves!

We're sending out in mid-June I think. I designed them myself, bought some paper last week and am in the process of printing them on my inkjet printer at home. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have them done EARLY but I'm a-okay with that!

We are sending them out the end of May!  We are very anxious to get our guest count, as it will really effect the budget.  I'm so excited to start getting our RSVP cards in the mail!

we're sending ours the 1st week of July with the RSVP deadline of Sept 1st. I figured most people would remember to respond by the 1st of the month then some day in August.

My plan is to send out the invitations the the last week of June. Our RSVP date is August 5th for our September 5th wedding!

My invites order is with the printing company, but I now need to send them a final list of names and addresses so they can print the outer envelopes. I am excited to receive the final product in the mail :)

I think we are sending ours out the last week of june or the first week of july. Our RSVP date is going to be about 1 month before the wedding becuase we need a final count around then for the menu and stuff.

I am hoping to have them ready by the end of June beginning of July with a RSVP by Aug 25...I haven't gotten too far in making them yet..still working out kinks in the design process.

Here is what I have thus far in my trial process with the YUDU:

@bluebutterfly:  what do you think about the yudu?  is it pretty easy to use?  i'm deciding between that and a gocco.

I'm thinking of mailing them out right after July 4 - that way they don't get lost in the holiday hubbub.

@dns567 from what I've read up on it the YUDU isn't as user friendly when it comes to paper crafting as the Gocco...I was met with some success, but still need to play around a bit to get it 100% right...Miss Sewing had some issues using hers on paper and so have some other hive members....from what I've read up on their is a learning curve when it comes to the YUDU and invite printing (or printing with text)

I didn't have as hard of a time as I had expected, but I also did a lot of research to prepare myself and followed a lot of tips and trick I read up on.

If you do go the YUDU route I highly recommend having a printing partner to help move your prints as you go because your screen could dry while the time passes.

We're sending out almost all of our invites 8-9 weeks before our wedding, with an RSVP deadline of 4 weeks prior to the wedding. The only ones that will be different are to our overseas guests, in South Korea and New Zealand. Those will go out as soon as they're received from the printer.

We also are having a semi-destination wedding, we are planning on sending out our invites July 1st with an RSVP date of Aug 21st. We sent out STD's about 4 months ago so we feel like our replies should be fairly quick.

Sending them out mid July (the standrad 8 week rule), with the RSVP date 4 weeks beforehand (august 18th). We are having a semi-destination wedding as well, but we sent the save the dates a year in advance, so I don't think sending them any earlier is necessary.

Just finished "proofing" the invites we ordered through etsy! Sooooo excited to get the final proof in the mail before having her print them all!

Has anyone sent out their invites yet? I'm Sept. 18th and had planned to send international guests their invites the first week in June but it looks like I won't be getting them from the designer until the 3rd week in June. I have an RSVP date of August 19 (1 month before) and thought the rule was to send them out 8 weeks before the RSVP but it seems like everyone is sending out 8 weeks before the wedding. This thread is reassuring!

Sept 5 - We're sending them out July 1st, RSVP is Aug 23rd.

slicey19: Unless you have a lot of OOT or international invites - sending them out too early might cause people to forget about sending back the RSVP (bcause the wedding is so far away). I'd push back the RSVP date (unless you need it for vendors).

    Aaaaand mine are out.

In my defense, a lot of my guests are having to make a cross-country trip.

Plus, um, I got really excited? Sigh.

Remember how I was going to sent them on the 17th?

    Well. . . It didn't happen Frown

The good thing: They are ready to be sent, we already put them together, we have the envelopes, the blank labels, and the proper stamps. Now we just have to address them and ship them!

The bad thing: we're still collecting the address of the people (I guess we should have done that sooner)

I'm trying no to worry because our RSVP will be by email or phone so I *hope* there are not too many delays. . .

    Anyone else falling behind??

We were behind. Since our date is Sept 5th - our printer told us to send them out July 5th, with the RSVP for Aug 5th. That didn't happen - we sent them out on the 17th.

We already got 14 responses -- all Yes. Yikes! LOL

yay! we are finally going to send them tomorrow!

    well, 45/85. . .

In our defense, half of those 40 missing are not answering our emails so we don't have their mailing address. . . most of them we'll see on sunday at church, so we can send them by monday.

And the other half are my fiance's family. . .we don't have most of their emails, so as I see it, we'll end up giving them by hand.

    Check them out:
