Did anyone do their registry yet? If so, when and where?

We did about 3/4 of it. We still have a few more items I want to get, but they didn't have some of the items in stock, so I need to go to another store to scan them on the list. We did ours last month at Target!

We have! ... or at least have started!  Like you guys, they didn't have some of the items we wanted.  We've registered at Williams Sonoma and Crate and Barrel.  I think my fiance wants to do Best Buy too. :)

@Karen91602: We did our entire registry online. We selected Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Kohls, and Jcpenney's as our stores. There are more things we will need than I realized.

We finished ours a few weeks ago at Target and a local department store, but we didn't register for that much. We've been living together for almost 5 years, so most of the things were just upgrades.

We've been slowly working on it - still can't find silverware we like! So far it's BB&B and Crate and Barrel. I'm debating on Macy's or Target. Our big issue is we have a lot of things we need, as we already own a home together.

FI wants to register for Home Depot or Lowes - I told him only if Petco or Petsmart had a registry ;)

We just finished ours recently. We did Macy's, Target and Crate and Barrel. We made sure to get a good combo of available in store and online items for our guests! I'm so excited, we found some really cool stuff as we were perusing :)

@krystallite: Please be careful with Target. I've read about some bees who had problems with their registry stuff.

@Corykru: well thats scary. i had a friend that had some trouble there, but nothing like those horror stories! I think we'll try to stick it out and keep an eye on it though bc we've finished the registry and people have already been told that we've registered there! :(

We registered a couple weeks ago at Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, and then an Amazon registry too. I think there are a few other things we want to add, and finalize our current picks, but it's mostly done. We tried to not put too many seasonal-type decor items on there because the salespeople said they could be out of stock by the time it's closer to our wedding, so I'd suggest keeping that in mind!

We did Macy's and Williams Sonoma.  I'm pretty self conscious about the WS registry because the items are fairly pricey.  We are thinking about just deleting the whole thing.

We started our Bed Bath and Beyond registry in person a couple of weeks ago.  I still need to edit it - I know what plates we want, but haven't added them, and there's a lot of other things missing.  Plus I need to figure out how to do an online one which I haven't gotten around to.'

Lazy, lazy, lazy.  I think part of the problem is we both hate picking out this stuff.

We did ours at Sears about 3 weeks ago, we still need to add to it though. We are also tossing the idea around of Home Outfitters either instead of or as well as. Not too sure yet but we will have to decide soon.

i chose bed bath and beyond and crate and barrell!

Theres a good selection for everyone to choose from between those places!

Also, I started to register at Macys BUT BB&B has a lot of the same exact stuff but for cheaper!

We did Macy's, Bed Bath and Beyond, and then we used Amazon as a catch-all for everything we couldn't find in the stores that we still needed. We plan on going back sometime during the summer to update since things may be discontinued by then.

@acingthelace: That is what I am most afraid of--things being discontinued before the shower! Hopefully not too many items are going to be that way. Would stink to have to put together a whole new registry LOL.

@Corykru: I totally agree. I was nervous because a few of our Macy's items are already on sale, but I think they will be sticking around. Not only are we afraid of discontinuing, but we don't know if we registered for enough so we may have to add on--don't think we are greedy, but we didn't really register for much bedding/household goods/linens and we may want to add more of those on once we know what colors/styles we will be using.

I was registered at Target, but yesterday we decided to also go to Crate and Barrel. Hopefully we have no problems! I hate the fact that Target doesn't give out any cards to put into any bridal shower invites. Crate and Barrel gave me 50.

We're at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Kohl's. We did most of it online with a little bit in each store. But that was irritating cause the scanner gun kept dying.

We are registered at Bloomingdales and Traveler's Joy for our Honeymoon.  Registering at Bloomingdales was pretty painless and the women who work in the registry department are very knowledgeable about all of their products.

We are registered at Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond!  Like other bees, we also ended up shifting a lot of items over to BBB since the prices are better overall! (But we like a lot of the bedding at Macy's more)

Ha we're doing Macys and Bed Bath and Beyond. I'm pretty sure we'll end up moving alot of things to BBB because Macys is like the stock market, you have to watch it to see when you can get the best price for a product. ;)

We're registered at Kohl's and Bed Bath and Beyond.. I want to add another store, and I've asked my FI where he would prefer it to be, but he won't answer me! Ugh!

I've actually seen that someone already made a big purchase from one of ours though.. yay!  :)

@MsPensFan: I looked at ours the other night, but nothing is bought. Which is good since I'm still contemplating doing another store and deleting a bunch of the registry we have.

We've registered at JC Penneys and Target. It's so hard remembering what you've already registered for and what the other store didn't have. I know my family doesn't really enjoy online shopping, so I had to also make sure everything that I saw online was also in the store...then I had to go to the store and see what they had there that wasn't online. Then I had to go to the other store and do the same thing. Then I went online after I finished to double check the checklist I made. It's kind of a pain, but I loved it regardless.

We have registered at BB&B and Crate and Barrell... FI wants to register at Lowe's or something too, I told him he was crazy, but now that a few of you are saying that too... hmmm.. Is that really ok?  Do people do that?

We did BB&B, a local kitchen store in our Neighborhood(no shipping fees for guests!), and Traveler's Joy. This wasn't as bad as trying to find hair & make-up...still on the to-do list! :)

We just bought a new house :::Yayyy::: so I'm pretty much deleting my old registry and starting over from scratch b/c we're moving from a condo to a 2,400 sq ft home. Any suggestions on places to register for accent pieces/furniture? (We initially registered @ BBB)

@Luxuryshoegal88: We put a few furniture pieces from Crate & Barrel for our spare bedroom. Most major chains have furniture though (Macy's, JCPenny, Pottery Barn, etc), just depends on your taste. I figure no one will buy the furniture, but then I get a discount on it later :). It's one of the last rooms to furnish (besides the dining room - no table until this damn dog stops chewing).
