SeptBride2Be23 : We are officially 40 days away! We just met with our florist today and finalized wedding flowers, and tomorrow we meet with our pastor to go over the ceremony details. Invitations went out a few weeks ago and we already have half of our RSVP responses with 0 people declining yet. Our wedding only had 61 people invited, so it’s not a massive event.
I have just a few DIY projects to work on. I’m making 2 small signs, one for the bar and one for our wedding hashtag, and then I’m working on a chalkboard sign for a seating chart . I’ll upload photos of a before and after when I actually start working on it. I figured by the first week of September is when I will begin that project.
As far as other things that need to still be done:
-Get our marriage license
-Rent Table Topper Linnens
-Buy additional wine glasses
-Plan the rehersal dinner
-Finalize music selection
-Pay for ice cream (not doing a cake)
-Get poloroid camera, film, and photo book for our guest book
-Write my vows
-Get some fabric to decorate our arch
-Have second and final dress fitting
-Look into a hotel room for FI and I
-Break in my wedding shoes
-Get manicure the day before my wedding
Wow, typing that all out makes it look like I have a lot more to do 🙁
We aren’t taking a honeymoon just because we are paying for this entire wedding ourselves and can’t afford to take a vacation directly after. 🙂
One question for you brides, are you/did you send an invitation to your photographer AND officiant? Not sure if that’s something I’m supposed to do for whatever reason.
