It looks like we’re date twins! I’m not sending out save the dates because it’s so close to the wedding I don’t think it makes much sense. I will call/tell people the date once we get a deposit down on the venue (the owner is eccentric, so it’s becoming a headache). I’m planning on mailing the invites around July 21 and giving 3 weeks for RSVPs to come back.

I only need to give a final count a week before, but I want to give myself time to track down RSVPs and also need to know exactly who will be there to plan out some of the reception things I want.

Date triplets!! I’m sending mine out the week of 7/15 and will be requesting RSVPs by 8/21.

On a side note – how crazy is it that our weddings are  just over 3 months away!? Where does the time go!!!???

Same date here also lol! I’m sending mine out at the end of June. Kind of early, but I didn’t send out save the dates.

I’m an “Irish Date Twin” (haha – one day earlier) — I’m planning to mail invites July 15, with an RSVP date of August 30. My FI’s sister is doing our invites and she recommended the RSVP date be about 3 weeks before the event. I sent Save the Dates last fall because half our guest list would need to travel.

From my family’s experience, the more time you give people to RSVP, the more likely they are to forget/not get it done on time/lose the RSVP card. That’s why I’m going for 3 weeks tops. Everyone I’m inviting will know beforehand what the date it, so they should know by July if they’ll be able to make it or not.

Welp, I suppose I should probably get ontop of this. A friend is designing mine and I told her to have the design done by the end of June but perhaps I need to make it sooner.

Everything is coming up a lot faster then I was expecting it to!

Our date is September 14. We are sending out the RSVP  the beginning of July. I know it seems early but alot of the out of town family will be here for a reuniion the beginning of August so I will receive the RSVP then. I didnt want to make it to leate in JUly and then some family not receive the RSVP until after the family reunion.  We made the RSVP deadline August 14th. Exactly 1 month to the day, we are doing our own food so it gives my family enough time to get everything and gives me enough time to track everyone down.

Date—Quadruplets??! LOL

I’m planning on sending mine out around the end of July.  FI and I are DIYing them and I just ordered the stuff we needed for them.

I feel like we have way too much to do too!

Well it looks like I need to get on top of these.  I designed ours but still need to have them printed and cut and assembled.  Hopefully I can get all of that done this month and send them out mid July.

Another vote for the week of July 15th here too.  I sent out save the dates to most of our family so they are already aware of the date (most of my family is 3-5 hours away drive-wise) and almost all of our friends are 0-1 hour away.

I’m sending my invites out July 1st and requesting them back by August 1st. I’m big into getting everything done early! 😉

My wedding is 9/28 and we’re sending invitations July 15th with an RSVP date of September 7th. My wedding planner said not to request RSVP’s back more than 3 weeks before the wedding date (she said 2 weeks is more common but 3 is fine).
