The place look beautiful... why dont u ask them to send some references of older customers.
I know I know I know! Ok, so my FI parents live in Cherry Valley. This place is off the road (the main road) not quite up all the way to Oak Glen. It is very nice, but it is and I emphasize the IS part, right off the main road, which could be why the price is reasonable. The pics look great though, I think it's still worth taking a looksie!

@lifeinshutterclicks, that is a great idea to ask for references! I actually had never thought about doing that before! That is for sure a great way to get the real deal on the venue.
@lindsey316, thanks for the inside info! Do you know happen to know if there are hotels in the area? Or any nice restaurants for a rehearsal dinner? I asked the people from serendiptity and they pointed me to a holiday inn express, although I would like to be able to give guests some more options if possible!

im not sure actually! I know you can stay by the 10 freeway over in Beaumont, which is just down the road...The closest cities (not that big either) are Cherry Valley, Beaumont, and Oak Glen....maybe there are some bed and breakfast' up in oak glen?? sorry i dont know much!
Oak Glen is beautiful, but remote. There are no major hotels up there so your guests might have to drive 20+ minutes to get there. There is a brand new Holiday Inn Express) probably the one they told you about, right along the 10 freeway that is probably the closest decent hotel. It's not in a town or anything though, it's just there, along the freeway with not much else around it.

Hi Inland Empire Bees!
I was wondering if anymore knows anything about the venue, Serendipity in Oak Glen. (website, http://www.serendipitygardenweddings.com) I just found it online and it looks very nice but I am currently living on the East Coast and can't visit it for a while. Has anyone been to check it out, or are you having your wedding there?
The price seems almost too good to be true, but I am hoping it isn't!
