You do know that black magic roses aren't black, right?
They're red.
Pink for your bridesmaids and all white bouquet for yourself - that way you get the best of both worlds!
I know they aren't black. What the florist wanted to do was use those very dark red colored roses and place them between white hydrangeas...if you google it, the look is way dramatic. I think it would be perfect for a winter wedding but not for spring wedding especially 6 days after Easter. The church we are getting married in will have white easter lilies in it. I am going for elegance. Everyone is wearing a diamond brooch. My contrasting color is wine, it's a soft burgundy. I wanted to do the all white for me and the pink for the girls but I didnt know if that would take away from the elegance and make it too girly fun.
I second lara bee---go with pink and some white (like your photo) for the bridesmaids and white for yourself. Very spring and I think they would go well with your ladies.
i agree. your photos are lovely and perfect for an april wedding.
I like the second photo, although it's probably super expensive. What about basing the flowers around tulips in sades of bright pink and white? Ivory roses are also inexpensive in April.
Do you need to go with that florist? It sounds like your florist doesn't share your vision.

I am having the worst time of my life trying to decide on bouquets for my wedding! I love Gerbera Daisies and Roses the most. I do not love Calla Lilies that much. I love the color pink and I love bright colorful things. I also love all white bouquets. I'm at a fork in the road, I have no idea what to decide and everyone around me thinks I need black magic roses!!! It's an April wedding and I am not Gothic! Please help me decide something. I'm losing my mind.
