@guitargirl: People in Canada use Kijiji a lot. I was looking for a dinning room table and found a perfect one really cheap. I made all the arrangements to go and pick it up. Well the day came and I called the guy, no answer. Ok, so I send him an e-mail, he sends me back “Oh, well my wife pointed out that we are actually going to need this table at our new place so I am not selling it now.” THEN WHY DID YOU PUT IT ONLINE TO SELL IF YOU WEREN’T SURE!?!

Really? You couldn’t of sent me an e-mail back and told me that you couldn’t sell it to me! You had three weeks to tell me but you waited until the week after I was suppose to get the table to tell me this? After I pestered you with phone calls and an e-mail!?

Anyways I ended up getting a dinning room table with stools for FREE. So it all worked out. People are just internet dumb sometimes.

@guitargirl: I have never had success on craigslist.  I tried selling a clarinet and I’d get so many spammers.

HAHA I tried to sell a Michael Kors coat on craigslist, with the tags still on it!  And someone actaully said “I’ll give you $15 for it”

I put a lamp on Craigslist and gave a CLEAR description of it along with photos. I clearly said it’s gun metal grey in colour, blah blah blah. This woman shows up to pick it up and is surprised it’s not purple. Where did I say it was purple?! THEN she has the audacity to offer me less money because it’s not the colour she wanted. I nearly punched her.

There are WAY too many tire kickers on Craigslist, it’s awful.
