my friend had a 2 minute and 19 second walk from the house to the ceremony site and then down the aisle – about 2 minutes 45 seconds when all was said and done – it was long!

All the better for photos!!!  No seriously if you aisle is 2 seconds long you’ll be lucky to get 1 good photo of you and your father (or whomever)!  I’m sure it’ll go by in half a second like everyone else!  Of course I’d practice it with my shoes.  Also organize how the officiant and music will be set up with the length of the aisle.  Will he have the guests stand for your entrance back at the house or when you get closer?  Will you be able to hear the music for you to begin that far back or just go by the timing of everyone else?  I think it will be amazing!  good luck!

@HardyPooleParty: I don’t think she felt funny but she was walking on grass at a slight decline and she said she spent of the time gripping her dad so she would slip and fall! I think she talked to her dad for most of the walk until they were in earshot!
