OMW I love love love love love Settlers!
We have tournaments every year at my annual business conference :)
This is how my FI and I met!!! We met on the zone.com when a free trial of an online version of Catan was being offered. We kept in contact via email & met up once we were both newly single a year later! We really aren't huge geeks- I swear! :)
On our first date, walking by a game store, we saw a huge 3D special addition Catan chest in the window... I keep going back on forth as to whether or not I should buy it as a wedding gift to him! However... you need atleast 3 players, so we've never played in real life! lol we can't get any of our friends to play it with us!
A 3-d version? I've never heard of something so fantastic!
I used to play at summer camp every week (that's how I got my mad skills) and FFIL bought the game for all of us this Christmas. I freaked out I was so excited!
hahaha! i played it one night with FH and friends and thought it was really fun although initially i was really skeptical. maybe we'll get one as a wedding present!
We have this game and I love it! Though it takes forever sometimes!
The 3D version is around $400! But this thing is a piece of art :)

My fiance loves this game and I have played a fe times with him and some of our friends. He insists that I hate it, but I dont as much as he thinks.
My FI's little brother and his girlfriend brought this game over one night, and now I've put it on our wedding registry! I LOVED it, and I generally don't like games! It was so fun, though it did take a while for me to get the hang of it. I thought I'd suck at it forever, until I almost beat FI's little bro (who plays it almost nightly) on the third game. I was thisclose to beating him, and I was so freakin' proud! :)
I've played the version on the X-Box 360 and I am totally hooked. We are looking to get the board game version if we can find some friends who are local who want to play.
I love love love Settlers. I started playing it with friends who were German exchange students. I so want the 3D version.
I just played this for the first time at my friend's house a few weeks ago. Great fun!!
I love Settlers so much! FH doesn't know how to play (yet) but I plan to teach him after he teaches me Magic. :)

I love that some of us bees are totally geeking out over this... my FI and I play all the time with our friends. I am so bad at it, but it's fun!
I love, love, love Settlers! And I had no idea there was a 3-D version! How awesome is that!
Okay, now I may HAVE to do a registry just so I can put the 3D version on it.

Anyone ever played the game? It is awesome fun, my FI and his brothers are all playing now (they dont let me play anymore because I keep their butts!) and just wanted to ask if any other bees have played?
For those who haven't, it is a shifting board game using skills similar to risk.
