Yikes! At least the water will receed by next week. If not, they should give you a far enough in advance heads up for you to find a replacement. I know this was an issue last year with all the flooding in the fall here in st louis. Good luck with everything, glad everyone is safe!
Yikes too! I am glad to hear that your loved ones are safe though - that's the most important thing. I hope the weather there gets better there so your venue will be beautiful for your wedding.
I was JUST thinking about Southern Brides today. Sorry about your venue, hopefully it'll dry out this week.
We should be getting some good weather in time to dry it up for you. I hope that water gets outta there for your day!
P.S. - I'm in Hampton Roads, VA...That picture was pretty much my backyard this week. Finally some sun today.
Yikes! I agree about calling the venue just to find out what their plan is in case it doesn't dry out. But I think that good weather is supposed to be moving in so you're probably alright. But a *HUG* to you as I'm sure I'd be going nutso aobut that 9 days out.

I don't know if you guys have seen all the severe weather happening in the southeast lately. A tornado hit my home town yesterday. Luckily no one in my family was affected, but there was a lot of damage across eastern NC from hail and the tornados. I feel terrible even thinking this, but if I can't share this in a forum of brides, where can I?
