We're getting married in a gazebo with no path, so are definitely sorting out what to do to avoid sinking. I'm trying to find a pair of clean heels - little plastic things that your heels slip into that keeps them on top of the grass rather than down in it. Currently, only finding them from sites in Australia or the UK. Anyone know of any sources without the mega crazy shipping costs?

Are you going to superglue yours onto your heels to make sure they don't fall off? It makes me kind of nervous to read that they fit "most" heels.
Here's a site that sells them in the US:

Here's another site that sells & ships to the US:

I got them in size small (10mm diameter). They also have medium (14mm). The shipping is around $15-20 extra for both sites.
One last thing. I just got an email response from a representative at Pretty Pink Toes, who suggested that I get the medium size. Very helpful! I got the clear glitter ones. The total plus shipping (an extra $2) was ~$11.00.
Oh these things are GENIUS! I *wish* I had them last month when I got hitched.
I sank in the grass and my shoes are a wreck. Why aren't these handy little doo-dads more widely known!?
Thank You for bringing this up! I thought I was doomed to wedges. Now I'm so excited for shoe shopping!
I know people are looking for heels on here, but for anyone looking for wedges and a little height, I got some great ones at Macy's a little while ago. They're by Style & Co. http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=293025&CategoryID=21840&LinkType=EverGreen
they don't look all that cute in the picture, but they're way cute on, plus extremely comfy!! who would've guessed with a 4" heel?! :) I would have loved to wear heels, but I'll be walking down an uneven limestone garden staircase for about 20 stairs, so I'm super afraid of falling down the stairs, plus pictures and everything in the grass all morning, i felt these were a better option. I looked forever for great wedges and finally found these and am so excited to wear them on my big day!
I love the pretty pink toes site! The rhinestone bra straps are a kick.

I am having a hard time finding pretty shoes to be used for my outdoor wedding at a grassy area. I want a bit of heels (2" or so?), do not want platforms or wedges. I like a bit of color: eg. red or blue. White/silver/light gold would be fine too.
I am sure there are more and more brides having outdoor ceremonies, what shoes are you wearing? Thanks for any advice!
