This question was sparked by Miss Orchid's super sexy Trash the Dress session pix...
For those of you who have pix in the same type of style (hot, wet, sexy, lotsa bare skin and heavy smooching type of stuff), what did your moms say?
We just got the chance to see some of our our pre-wedding “portrait” shots, which aren’t nearly as hot-cha-cha-cha as Miss Orchid’s. But I asked Mom what she thought, and she said, “Nice, but I thought some of them were kind of risque.” The raciest thing was that you could see pretty high up my thigh on a few shots, but that’s it. I know that the only thing that matters is that hubs and I love these photos, but I feel a little sad that my mom doesn’t seem to be into them as much as I had hoped. I think maybe she is of a generation that’s not as comfortable with the photojournalistic style and intimate nature that’s more common now? Thoughts? Other mom reactions? Did it hurt your feelings if your parents didn’t really like your photos? (The rest of our wedding photos will be in the same style, we just haven't gotten them back yet, so I have this vague dread of the same reaction.)
