my coworker went to one there and said it was a lot of fun. i'm actually going for a bachelorette party next saturday so i'll let you know how it goes!
I've been with a big group and it was initially a lot of fun (the girls are beautiful), but I have to warn you that towards the end of the meal a bug crawled out of our noodles. We complained and they didn't seem to care, then another bug crawled out! After the second bug, they comped our meal. I don't know if our meal was a fluke, but it sort of put a damper on an otherwise fun night out.
i've been there for a bday dinner, but never a bachelorette party. we had lots of fun when we were there...i think they personalized our menu with the bday girl's name and they have dance performances by the "women" a few times an hour. the "women" were all really nice and would come by and say hi and take pictures with us. it's been a while since i went, but i think the food was pretty good too. i think it'd be a great place to go for a bachelorette party! :)
i love asia sf! its the go-to for out of town guests. hehe.
i think its a great idea for a bachelorette party. its super fun, the food is decent (although that bug story is disgusting!) and its so "SF."
i went for a friend's bachelorette last year and there were at least 3 other bachelorette parties going on at the same time! so it's definitely a popular spot for a bachelorette...the "women" get up on the bar to put on a song and dance show at the top of every hour. the basement is set up like a club, where there is lots of music and dancing (and bras hanging from the ceiling for some reason).
if you're a foodie, you will hate asiasf. this place is definitely not about the food! it's pretty lackluster at high prices. also, my friend cut herself on a shard of a glass that was on the table.
I also went to a bachelorette party at Asia SF. It was definitely a lot of fun being it was everyone's first time there.
Some friends took me there for my birthday a couple yrs ago. I had so much fun! I hear the bachelorette party there are fun too. I can't tell you how the food taste b/c I helped myself to their drink menu
Definitely get your makeup done at MAC. You don't want those 'ladies' to look better than you! LoL
hi glittergrl! okay, so i just went to the bachelorette party at asiasf this saturday and we all had a blast! we went with the sin-sation package with the buffet and VIP booth in the little club downstairs [not upstairs in the dining room] and it was a lot of fun. everyone was up dancing and partying and the food was great and it kept coming [which i was glad because i totally missed out on the yummy chicken skewers the first time around]. the coordinator were really helpful and kept checking in on us to make sure we had everything [yay paul! you rock]. and the ladies of asiasf were quite fabulous. we stood around and thought how unfair it was that men looked that great. lol.
and because we all had such a good time, we've been banned from posting any pictures of the night anywhere. now if that isn't a sign of fun times i don't know what is.
there were quite a few bachelorette party groups there but as far as we knew, we were the only ones with the booth. i honestly would vouch for the place.
Fantastic!!! thank you ladies so much!!!
Tea -- how much was it and how large of group did you have?
hi there glttergrl. Asia SF is fabulous! I've gone there a handful of times for different events. The food is great, the atmosphere is wild, and the girls there are fabulous. Look out for Naya, she is the hottest one of the bunch! I've coordinated a bachelorette party there and have attended ones there and there's always tons of others going on at the same time. If they don't have a private event going on downstairs, you can head down for the clubs and get your friend a lap dance downstairs. You just have to go to the chick to request her directly. Have tons of fun. Enjoy!!!
BTW glttergrl, when you do a party, you always have to do a set menu. If you check out their website, you can see the different set menu options. I think they go by gold, silver, platinum.
we paid $60 each to include tax and gratuity - but i think the package itself was $45/pp. and we had about 15 people in our group i believe. if you have any other questions feel free to ask!

Have any of you been here before? I go past it all the time and evidently it's a ton of fun. I've seen some of the 'women' and they really are quite amazing to look at. Would love to hear from some of you.
