Weddingbee Boards
Is anyone interested? My personal preference is a get together at someplace fabulous in Berkeley on a weekend in August or later. But I'd be interested in going someplace else--San Francisco is probably most central...any ideas? Dates? Locations? Post if you're interested!
i wouldn't mind if it's in SF, but I don't have a car so Berkeley is kinda hard to get to.
definitely interested, depending on timing. SF would be most convenient, but could do east bay or south bay.
superstar - if it ends up not in SF, we may be able to coordinate some sort of rideshare.
I would be interested! I'm in San Jose, but I have a car and can meet up anywhere! If there are other San Jose bees, we could arrange a rideshare from here too!

Glittergrl, when will you be back from your honeymoon? I'll be on mine until the end of July, and FI (who will then be DH
omg so exciting!!) and I will be moving to Berkeley right afterward. Obviously I'm getting married right before so I won't be available then. If no time in August is good, maybe we can all try for September? Also, it seems like SF will be the best place to meet up, so I'm fine with planning for that. Suggestions as to where? I'm thinking a cute restaurant for lunch or dinner, but I don't really know a lot of SF restaurants.
if September, the earlier the better (at least for me). if we have a rough number, i can help track down a restaurant or cafe
i think it's going to be hard to find one weekend that everyone can go :( but we can try :)

I live in SF, but sadly don't get to go out too often, so I don't know that many nice places... we've done stuff at Osha Thai, Sears Fine Food...

would September 6 or 7 work for people? September 13 is out for superstart and i turn into a pumpkin the following weekend...
here are more suggestions: park chow, and pacific catch (i've never been to Pacific catch, but everyone says it's nice). They are really close to each other...
I would love to meet up in SF. I work in the financial district in the city so meeting in SF is great. There is this place in the Mission that is supposed to be great called Beretta that I saw on SFGate we cold try there. It has great pizzas
I would LOOOVEE to meet up, but Sept 6th is my wedding day =( any way we could plan two ? What about Sunday August 24th ?
ktrain - Beretta is in my neighborhood! I've been once - it could be good if the group isn't too big. The pizzas are yummy and the cocktails aren't your regular bar finds, but sound interesting. We stuck to wine when I went, but have been looking for an excuse to get back to check out the mixed drinks!

So I called Beretta and they have a private room downstairs we could reserve =) We just need a date. I still suggest Sunday Aug. 24th. Or what about a Friday night ?
Friday nights aren't good for me because I usually have to work late

I'm down for the 24th too. Prefer east bay but can do the city. YAY! I've seen so many great ideas here.

I am so coming to this! I love all of you wonderful and oh so entertaining Bees. I'm 2.5 months out from the "big friggin day" and I've started to find solice in the nightly emails- I actually start to wonder when they're late - only the Bees understand why I'm drinking alone and stamping what seems like the 43,000,000 hand-made invitation! Can't wait to meet the Bay Area Bees :)

Oh, I wish I could come! It's one week after my big day (the 15th!eek!) and sadly, rather than being on my honeymoon I will be *gulp* back at work. Have a drink for me?
