i'm still in for a bee meet up! Did anyone make a reservation at Beretta? its a pretty popular place we will definitley need one. Let me know if its still happening! Thanks! :)
Is the Local SF Bee meetup this sunday at 6pm- beretta? can anyone confirm? thanks!
I called, but Beretta only takes reservations for 6 or more and it seems not quite that many can make it.... we can still go, but we'll be subject to whatever the wait time is.... or we can choose a new place ?
i think sunday at 6 won't be that busy...plus, aren't we just meeting for drinks? they have a large communal table and a good size bar. Will someone have a little sign or something so we know who's who?

I think there would be enough people showing up to qualify for a reservation. Did anyone else make a reservation? If not, then I'll make one for 6 people and drag someone else with me if there's not enough. I just need to make sure there's at least four other people interested. Let me know and I'll make it happen :).
Update: I called Beretta and they can't take my reservation because their reservations are full for tomorrow. The theory is that there's some kind of music festival in town and she suspects that the bar will have a huge wait as well. I think that maybe we should pick a different venue because I imagine it would be difficult to get to know each other in such a loud and crowded space. Anyone have any other suggestions?
OMG that music festival in Golden Gate Park is TAKING OVER MY NEIGHBORHOOD !!!!!!!!!! PEOPLE EVERYWHERE !!! How about Mexican ? There is Tres Agaves in Soma... or La Barca in the Marina, if no mexican there is Brick, or Park Chalet .... I checked open table and all of these places have reervations available.
How about District, in SOMA? or Fresca in Noe Valley? i am certain Fresca wouldn't be too busy on sunday in Noe, b/c it's a cute, sleepy neighborhood. District is mainly a bar with appetizers.
Let me know where you guys decide because you can count me in for the reservation, I'm coming from the east bay, is anyone else? :)
I just noticed they don't do reservations on Sundays... but let's meet there at 6, yes ?

I just went on districtsf.com and it said it's closed on sundays.
NorCalBride: I'm actually taking BART from Walnut Creek. So hopefully the restaurant we decide on is near public transportation :) Or else I might not be able to go

I just want to confirm that we are on for Pucinni and Panetti at 6. Should we put something up on the main boards so others can see? I know I just checked this post today to make sure people were still going, so it is possible others might not have responded or know about the change. I'm looking forward to meeting you all! :)

Should we reschedule? It sounds like many can't make it. I would hate for you to drink alone Glitter650. :( It would actually work better for me too if we did reschedule. I am unfortunately working late getting ready to start the school year.
I'll still be there just in case someone hasn't been checking and was planning on coming ... if I'm alone I'll just call FI to come join me LOL
