    Hello,

    I'm getting married next July 2012 in San Francisco.  I'm looking at hotel suites to stay two nights (night before and wedding night).

    Any recommendations on suites that will fit photographer and 4 bridesmaid the day of; also hotel must have character (for picture opps).

    I'm getting married in Nob Hill/Chinatown area; prefer to stay in Nob Hill/Financial District/Chinatown.  Front runner right now is SF Hilton who is offering Presidential Suite for somewhat discounted rate.  While it's a good offer; the hotel lacks character that other hotels around the area.

    Thanks,

    @sfbride2bee:

    I think that the Fairmont would be a nice location and good for photos before the wedding.  The Westin could work too.  My favorite for character and interesting photos would be the Sir Francis Drake.

    My two cents is Hotel Vitale; the balcony is gorgeous and you get views of the ferry building and the Bay Bridge. Congrats fellow SF Bride! :)

    My friend got married in Sept and got a suite at the Sir Francis Drake in Union Square (Powell and Sutter) that fit the bride, 5 bridesmaids, 2 make-up artists, and 2 photographers.  Sir Francis Drake has lots of charm, we did pictures upstairs off the lobby area and it is right in front of the cable car line.  Highly recommend the Sir Francis Drake.

    My sister also got married in Sept and got the Presidential suite at the Intercontinental which is on Mission and 5th.   The suite has HUGE and two levels with a balcony.  It was Rumored that Obama stayed in the suite on a trip to SF.  The suite was more like a large one bedroom apartment and comfortably fit the bride, 11 bridesmaids, 2 makeup artists, and an army of photographers/videographers.  It was more modern with glass and metal work versus the old charming feel you get at some other hotels.

    The Fairmont or the Mark Hopkins would be good as well!  Good luck!
