ok ladies, i haven’t seen much on here about shades of pale, yet i have been ALL over their facebook page and what not and they have ACTUAL pictures of the dresses THEY make, not stock pictures that they may or may not be able to replicate, now they are not QUITE as cheap as others such as dressilyme (one i considered for a good long time) but the quality and detail in the beading, lace and detales are rediculous!!
i am not ordering mine made off a concept picture, i’m piecing mine together from lots of eliments i really liked from other dresses, and let me just say, the Lady that has been working with me (and when i say working, i mean 5-6 + emails a day talking about fabric otions and suggestions, design improvments and prices) has PERFECT english, not a flaw, no language barrier whatsoever. her name is Amalia, and i adore her 😛 i’ve gone through so many different design ideas, and with her help and ideas i have slowly pieced them together into the dress of my dreams!! now i have not ORDERED it yet, i’m still working out a few details, but all this work has been with NO MONEY DOWN on her part and i’m impressed.
i got quotes from other places, but waaay after i’d gotten it from them and already started hashing out design ideas. the dress is estimated at $350 shipped (which with the amount of lace and beading this dress will have on it is amazing)
i’m talking with her right now about fabric swatches, but man….that $25 shipping bites!!
ok so this is the first dress concept that i photoshopped together….
this is the concept back #1
she sent me a zip file with literally HUNDREDS of lace sample pictures (which i LOVED) and we started talking design….after much talk (and dozens of emails a day!) i re shopped up a picture of what we had discussed
this is concept dress #2
as you can see we added a little fullness, beading on the skirt itself, and changed out the flower waist detail with bead work (i’m still on the fence about that…i might go back with the flowers, but do chiffon ones instead)
i’m also trying to decide what i want as far as fabric…i’m not sure weather to go with chiffon (for a softer, lighter, flowy feel) or organza (still the flowy feel, but might provide more structure for the beading and lace)….any suggestions?
