@jpalm13: Gorgeous colur Scheme. I’m still on the fence about adding another colour for my colour scheme.
Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted from any posting Bees.
Colour Scheme: Deep Purple/Plum with Gray/Silver (depending on the item). I am trying for the purples to have more of a blue undertone than a red undertone. I learned pretty early on though that getting every purple to be an exact match was a fool’s errand, so I now have a number of purples mixed in.
Swatch: I will post some pics of my already-done DIY stuff below, don’t have a specific swatch, although here is the fabric for the Bridesmaids’ dresses:
Theme: No real theme, although if I had to describe it to someone, I’d probably say “Upscale club/lounge”
DIYs: Save the Dates, Invitations, Card Box, Flowers (Silk), Centerpieces, All printed materials (programs, menu/entertainment cards, table numbers, signage), Aisle Runner, Giant Jenga game for reception, Pillows for lounge furniture
Most Exciting Purple Item for your wedding: I really love my centerpieces, but also the uplighting/draping/decor. That is my big splurge item. Lighting is really important to me.
Aisle runner design (will be hand-painted)
And just finished my programs – they don’t have purple on them, but they have my complementary gray. This is just the front, back has wedding party on it. Rack cards from Vistaprint.
