Okay I just saw a commercial for this arm workout called the SHAKE WEIGHT!!! Anyone seen it or have it! It looks like a good work out to get nice looking arms for the big day! I was just wondering if it works or am I just a sucker for infomercials!

I haven’t heard of it, but that’s a pretty awesome/hilar name. 🙂

I Googled it. I can’t tell from the official website whether there is a small motor in there, or you have to shake it yourself. If there is a motor and you are trying to hold it still, that could be a good workout. If you have to shake it, I would imagine that I would get tired/lazy pretty quickly.
If you want something that works not just arms but other parts, I would look into a Ab-Wheel. You can find them almost anywhere for about $15 (or less). It is like two lawn mower wheels with a handle, and you go out and back on it. It works your abs, arms, back, legs, shoulders. I’m lazy with it, but when I get into it, I feel results in a week.

Ha I heard the morning DJ’s talking about this thing a week or so ago and had to chime in. They said that it was a really good workout but very tiring and that the motion kind of looks like (not to be offensive) something a guy would do on his personal time if ya know what I mean. Then they also talked about having a contest at our State Fair where a girl would have to come up in a bikini and shake it for like 10 minutes to win concert tickets haha. Anyhoo just thought you might find it amusing.

OMG – Loverboy sent me a link to the video about the shake weight a while ago and I had a good laugh – I have some doubt whether it works or not – but um … the motion is kind of amusing to me. That is, afterall, why loverboy sent me the link in the first place … tehehe …
