i'm feeling like i should just throw in the towel and work out until i actually fit into some shapewear.

i've tried flexees, spanx, and a few other brands. i cant find anything to fit me!

I wear a 38D in regular bras or a 40C in shapewear with alot of firming.. and thats exactly what i want. I want to be sucked in like crazy... but everything that does that for me leaves rolls or bulges or my torso is too long for it.

i have some skin from having a baby and i have some back fat. so i dont want anything with boning in the stomach or that cuts off at the belly button because that makes the problem worse.. and a low cut back is bad too....

oh god. i'm so picky... seee why i need the help!?

Have you tried speaking with a department store clerk? Like in a macys or Jc Penney's? Sometimes they do not carry all of the best products in the store but may have a catalog. Surprisingly, I have had great results with the "body smoothers" brand from Leggs. They come up to under my bra and do not roll down.

Best part is, I CAN BREATHE!! They are very flexible. I get them at Walgreens. On their site you can get special sizes if they do not have yours at the store.

    Hope this helps!

I got a Miracle Suit shaper from Macy's! a friend who has a similar body type wore one for her wedding last summer.

Its strapless (w/ straps you can put on) and comes down mid thigh like Spanx. It comes in a bra size and while I'm kind hippy, I got my bra size. Its snug but i wanted the smaller one to keep things tight and in there, and to be tight enough as I'm losing a couple lbs. - I usually wear a 34D and am about 170lbs - back chub and all :)

I've used long line bras with boning and the boning always ends up curly and NOT smooth by the end of the night of sitting and standing.

    Macys - Miracle Suit

My Macys had it in the store so try them on first if you can. If not, order a few sizes and return what you don't like.

i am a former jcpenney bra fitter.. so i know what penneys and most comparable department stores have... i just cant seem to get a good fit because nothing with a bra built in is long enough and nothing without a bra will stay up.

i looked your suggestions from Macys... do they stay up? how tall are you? do you have a long torso?
