Try shop at some Asian linguine shops; you would be surprised on how strong their bodyshaper is. I bought top & bottom from those Asian store. It was made for wedding and it really help to create a shape from top to bottom. It is two pieces and the back is designed to drop lower for the gown. And yes, I can still breathe 🙂

Commenting to follow.

I have been looking everywhere for a shaper to wear under my dress.  I like the long-line bras, but they are not long enough to hold in my tummy which is the reason I was looking for a shaper for my wedding.  I tried on a slip when I bought my dress, and it was okay but I don’t know how it would fare through the night.  I tried on a body suit shaper, but it would make going to the restroom even more of an ordeal!  If anyone knows where I can buy a strapless long-line bra-type shaper in extra long, let me know!

My dress is A-line and hides things well, I just would like a little extra support!

I bought a thigh-to-bust shaper a few years ago that was pretty damn cool. It had a little slit/hole for peeing– it overlpapped, sort of like men’s boxers and not just gaping, lol. It had some kind of boning in the torso and REALLY kept my flabby tummy in check. I’m just not sure the back would be low enough for some wedding dresses. I woul LOVE to find something like that– I think I got it at Macy’s or Nordstroms.
