We used Dollar Tree vases to put our table numbers around. They were the perfect size and turned out GREAT!

I love this post :) Dollar Tree's marketing is really smart. I ordered river rocks. They are being sent to the store. We're picking them up in the town we are getting married in (destination). It's so easy and no shipping or running around town trying to find things. We're going to use them on the aisle like this . . .
I bought preserved orchids from Sav-On crafts. They are not as bright/colorful as the pic, but good enough.
My florist wanted $500 for the aisle decor. We're able to do it for a small fraction of that (thankfully!!).
@dani ddha That's really pretty! Thanks for the tip on having them ship it to the store.

@Wannabe-diy-bride: Actually thats my mistake, I got those at an outlet store but were only 50 cents each! But I am sure the dollar store has some too!

I bought 30 white square plates from there to use for serving food. Hmm wait does that qualify as decor?

@meerkat: I don't remember exactly now (I did them last fall). Each bunch of flowers had 12-15 flower heads (each bunch for $1). I bought the foam balls at Hobby Lobby with a coupon so they weren't very much and the ribbon was also from Dollar Tree for $1. I made two large ones (8" across) and six smaller ones (5" across) and I know it was less than $50 for everything.
This was my ring pillow until I changed my colors to all green but I'll be making another one similar =) all the things used to create this were from DT! =) 100% covered with flowers!

i love the rock ones! i never would have thought to use the stones like this! amazingly beautiful and creative, to use the out of the vases on the table scapes, and to use them along the runner... amazing ideas so i must say....

@Ill Be Mrs B:It's actually the Bee's own Mrs. Leopard's. I'm using it for inspiration, but tweeking the colors. Her wedding was so beautiful - modern and different - everything I love :) .
We used ribbon from Dollar Tree for the ribbons for the handfasting part of our ceremony. They had good quality satin ribbon.
All of the glassware is from the dollar store (everything else from Michaels, but very inexpensive)
What a great thread! I started getting all our flowers from DT but I noticed that the majority of them fell apart after a few days/week - not all of them but most so I turned to Michaels discounted fall decor for those.
But the Dollar tree for vases, ribbon, pew bows, tulle, flower petals, candles, tea lights, favors! That's definitely my go to store for sure.
I love these little favor basins - plastic white swans - they came in packs of 6 and were discounted at .25 cents for each pack!! I'll probably buy more tulle from there to package them up:)
If you've never checked out their website either, it is a GREAT source for How-To DIY Project ideas. Has anyone ever tried to dye their white flower petals??
i just made these tonight..funny that i found this thread also tonight..everything i used came from dollar tree..i might add a few more candles, maybe a different votive holder...the ribbon around the glass vase and the filler inside is actually black. it just looks brownish because of my cherry wood table. our colors are black, ivory, red, and teal. still working on how to get the teal on the tables.
lovely you guys!!!!! i love thrifty finds. I used dollar tree to make a beautiful table setting for thanksgiving this year. I got some georgus glass goblets and white candles also some fall leaves.
But really I too am just typing here so I can save this thread for when the time comes :)
I love the dollar tree! Almost all of my centerpiece items are coming from there..the only thing not from there is the flowers, which are from hobby lobby :)

@Faellie: The runner is from chaircoverfactory.com They seem to have the best prices. :)
I found this on their website today while I was in the store and instantly fell in love. They didn't have the vase shown in the example so I just used a regular cylindar and paired it with another cylindar and a smaller votive holder. I plan to put them on a tile instead of a mirror to help cut costs a little more. I work at Dollar Tree, Every day I am looking at things for the wedding :) I will say that most all of the product is quality and will look gorgeous I am just glad I got some extra Ideas from you ladies!!
I just made my first Pomander from Dollar Store roses.... I LOVE it! These will be my centerpieces on top of 24" trumpet vases... there will also be 3 leveled cylinder vases with floating candles....
@clwkerric: Those are so beautiful! Great Job! I used some of those same flowers in my centerpeices too, the ones with the pink, and I thought they turned out beautiful.
