Ok, so I thought it might be helpful to post pictures of your ring on your finger while also stating the carats/ring size of your hand.  I saw the post on ring size/diamond size and I'm just curious what different sized diamonds look on different sized hands.

You don't have to post if you don't want to, of course, but I think it would be helpful to anyone looking at this thread later - I know it would help me!

So yeah, if you'd like, post a picture of your ring on your finger and list:

1. Ring (finger) size

2. How many carats your ring has

@Miss Baker: Oh, wow, it is noticeable.  Your hands seem smaller too.  What is your ring size? =)

@Miss Baker - I have the exact same ring.  I LOVE IT!  It is the exact ring I always wanted, it is so classic and timeless. 

I had originally picke dout just a simple white gold band to go with but now I am secong guessing and think I might want something a little fancier for my wedding band, but don't want anything gaudy.  Any suggestions on what might go well?

@AudzinLuv: Welcome!  I am going ring shopping this weekend.  I don't know my ring size myself, so I wanted to see different sizes on different fingers.  I'll have to search for your thread now.

@NDBride2011: Yours is definitely different, in a good way. The stone matches the pale gold setting really well.  It's like they were meant to match!

@jaylii9: Omg, your setting is awesome.  It's just so interesting and intricate.

@zippylef: Yours is a good size.  It's also nice and simple, which I think makes the stone seem bigger!

@Habibah14: I <3 Princess cut.  It's my favorite cut so far.  I think yours is so pretty.

Center stone is around 1.5c and total is around 2c

Ring size: 5.75

my ring is a size 7, the center is 1.7 and the tcw is 2.2

so is it weird that i just ran to the bathroom (i'm at work and am not allowed to take pictures in the cubicle areas) to snap a quick pic of my ring with my cell phone to post here, lol?

anyway, here she is. i absolutely lover her!

ring size: 7 (although the jeweler says i am a 6.5)carat size: the center stone is 0.75cts., the two on the sides i'd guess to be ~0.2cts each, and the total weight of the ring is 1.5cts. the e-ring came as a set with a matching thin (like the sides) half-eternity band. we're thinking of going back to the jeweler and buying a second band so i have one on top and one on bottom. with the two bands, i'd guess the total would come in right around 2cts or so.

p.s. i just realized this pic makes the diamond look a little murky. :( it's much sparklier in person, lol.

Here is mine...1.01 carat center with .25 on each side....total weight= 1.61 carats.  I'm a size 4.5

@KatNYC2011....thank you! It's a round center stone and the halo is slightly under the diamond and gives it a cushion cut look (I'll post a side picture so you can see).  I was actually just admiring your ring...it's gorgeous!! I didn't choose my ring because it was a surprise but I probably would have picked a ring like yours if I was able to! (not that I don't like the one he chose for me....but yours is breathtaking!)

The wedding band is engraved on the sides and has no diamonds, so no added carats - it was my mom's original wedding band.
