here is my flower girl
- i went with a silk pomander ball for her - ribbon around the waste and cute headband
@sparrowly: I don't have any pictures, but our flower girl will be different in the fact that the colors on her dress will be opposite from everyone else. Also I bought her the cutest little set of pearl earrings, bracelet, and necklace.
I think the flower idea sounds cute! Why not use one in their hair? As long as they have enough hair to support it, and I think if it's not overly large it will look great!

Hopefully the link works. It's the pic of my FG. She wore an Easter dress she'd had in her closet for over a year, a had a halo made, and I borrowed a flower girl basket she had used in another wedding and redecorated it.
There are a ton of flowergirl headbands available on Etsy. Just do a search and you'll see the wide variety you have to choose from!
Here was my adorable flowergirl holding her momma's bouquet:

Here was ours, 2 weeks after she turned two. Hair flower was made by an Etsy seller. At least she kept it in, but you can see she couldn't wait to lose her shoes! :)
@sparrowly: thanks its my sister in law believe it or not - DH is one of 13 kids. she is the youngest at 6 years old.

I will have two flower girls, my two year old goddaughter and Fi's four year old cousin. Both are adorable!
Most flower girls I have seen have worn some kind of wreath of flowers. I have this idea in my head that it would be cute to style them instead with one large cloth flower, maybe attached to a headband. The dresses are white and have poofy tulle skirts and some cloth flower detail on the top of the dress. I spontaneously found the dresses for $20 at Target!
Does anyone have any pictures of a similar style? If not, please post your favorite flower girl pictures. I love the cuteness!
