One cat walks around with a fake limp when she wants attention from guests. It is the funniest thing ever to me. Our guests get so alarmed when they see her and then I have to tell them that she is faking for attention.

My kitty is a crosseyed 3rd generation savannah (domestic/serval hybrid). Hes a year & 3 months old, and wont be full grown til hes 3 years old. Not sure quite how big he’ll end up, but they can be the size of medium sized dogs sometimes lol love him to pieces!!

My cat is 7 years old and such a ham. Even my friends with cats tell me how jealous they are of his personality when they come to visit. He actually has a lot of typical dog qualities. He does not like to be alone, so he follows me around my apartment. If he isn’t sitting on my lap he is at least in the room. He even steals my pillow when I am sleeping. He also fetches and likes to roll around in the dirt of my balcony.

Last by not least he has a little bit of a cult following on facebook because I am constantly posting “where’s waldo?” type photo’s of him hiding places and people have to guess where he is. Some of them are really funny (only his head under a blanket and his whole butt hanging out) where others are actually really difficult.

Our boy (gray) is obsessed with my husband’s guitar playing. As soon as he hears it, he comes running, purring like crazy, crawling all over the guitar ad his lap. Not very conducive to playing music but it’s adorable. He also eats any spiderhe can find, which I quite appreciate.

The little girl (Siamese) will let us know that it’s petting time by grabbing our hands with her paws, like yours nanoinfinity, or wrapping them around an ankle. So cute! She’s not the smartest kitty and we laugh at her 8 second fish memory.

theEguarantee:  My sister breeds Savannahs!  They are adorable and so full of personality!

I have 2 babies.   One is 16 years old this month and I’ve had her since she was 6 weeks.  She is super friendly, begs for food like a dog, likes to eat anything from cheese/yogurt to tortilla chips to strawberries.  She licks cups and gets them stuck on her head

She also looks like she has eyeliner on, which is awesome.  She goes outside with me when its nice out and eats grass, then she comes in when I call her.  But don’t get it twisted, she runs this house.  Gosh, I love her!

The other was a rescue, in a sense.  Our friends found her and her sister in thier barn.  We had recently had to put our kitty boy to sleep (cancer), and so we took her.

She is a mess!  She’s a turbo, follows me everywhere, insists on sitting in the window all day every day (she is part of the neighborhood watch program I think), and loves loves LOVES our other lady!  She cuddles with her regularly, much to the others dismay!

ETA:  I’ve already embraced my “crazy cat lady” status. It’s ok.

nanoinfinity:  I love this thread!

My cat is super social and friendly – he LOVES people. He is also a traveling kitty – he’s moved with me to various states and has even gone on a cross-country drive with me a few years ago. He’s gearing up for our next cross-country road trip as we are moving at the end of July!

I don’t have my cat anymore, as I had to find a new home for him when I moved in with my FI last summer (he’s allergic, and this was very hard for me to do)… but my cat had so many talents!

His name is Joe Mauer, and he was just shy of being 6 when he went to his new home. He’s a Manx, so he didn’t have a tail. As a Manx characteristic, he was very dog like . He’s follow me around, always needed to be near me and fetched bottle caps. It was adorable!! Just a little tap of one of those on a counter, and he would be at my feet to have me throw and go get. He’d even return them by dropping them in my hand. He was crazy, and I loved him! It was always nice coming home and he’d be at the door waiting for me.

However, he was not very friendly to other people. I would compare him to a stripper… he likes the attention and always had to see what was going on, but don’t touch! I was pretty much the only person who could touch him.

Here he is sleeping, I just loved his huge back legs!
