Watching Teen LK grow into a man. It is the most amazing thing ever to watch your kid grow into his own person with his own opinions, preferences, etc. He can hold his own in debates on huge subjects, he’s learning how to cook, he has his own taste in music…. basically, he’s just pretty darn neat, in my book. And that moment when the tables are turned, and there is my son comforting me (or someone else). That is just so frickin’ amazing. To know that my child is capable of such empathy, calm, and caring… just…. wow. And when I watch him play with his little cousin, kiss his boo boos, make him giggle, and all that other good stuff I get to catch a glimpse of the father he will one day become. It truly moves me to tears. I wouldn’t trade being his Mom for the world.

Baby laughs! I love how my toddler can laugh at the most mundane things.  When his little face lights up when I go pick him up from daycare each day.  The forming of first words.  The comforting him when he is scared. The cuddles, I love how he cuddles up to me on the couch.

Watching him figure things out on his own! He is learning how to dress himself, right now with his pants/shorts. LOL granted I have a child who now takes his pants/shorts off pretty much anytime just so he can try to put them back on… Thank goodness we haven’t figured out how to take the diaper off yet.

@Mrsluckywife:  LOL he did it once at 9 months, last summer it was so darn hot here, we had him just sleeping in his diaper.  Well I also broke my ankle last summer in two spots, so I couldn’t do a whole lot of picking him up out of his crib while healing.  Well my DH went to get him one morning and all of sudden I heard my DH say his full name. I rushed (well as fast as I could with using a walker at the time) to his room only to find, a wet diaper had been flung (by our little boy not DH) out of his crib. Little boy was naked in his crib!  LOL.

He to this day loves running around naked. Night time is so much fun changing his diaper and into jammies. If he can escape naked he will and the go running through the house just laughing away, and oh yeah typical little boy has to play with his little wee wee!
