I know a lot of your are creative, so share with me any (( unique, DIY )) gift ideas!!! I need some suggestions/ideas. =)

P.S. I would very much like to get robes for all my B.P to get ready in, and have them customized with "M.O.H" ,"BM", "Bride" written on the back ( not rhinestones though).  I wanted to get the silky ones because they seem to look nicer, and come in more colors...but thinking about it... is a thicker material better? But then, I am hesitant about the thick, fuzzy towel like robes or "waffle" ones because..the wedding is going to be the end of April, in Florida, we are going to be hot and some of them just ARE NOT CUTE.  Anyone have suggestions on materials? Where can you get them for a good $? Also, I was going to do all the girls in purple, and me in white, but I'm afraid it will get dirty with airbrush makeup, and everything else, and a lot of pics will be taken while getting ready (plus i dont want it to get ruined)...

P.P.S. My friend offered to get personalized Juicy track outfit to wear while getting ready for the wedding. Has anyone ever seen personalized Juicy track outfits (besides the ones the Khloe kardashian had)? She wants to get the velour track style pants (with BM, bride, MOH embroidered on the butt), basis jacket (with wedding date on hoodie), plus, get one of those cutom t-shirts to match the juicy color.  I mean she is overboard, has the money, but I have 8 BMS + MOH + myself, 10 girls she'd be buying these for and I think that a bit over board!! What should I do?

I have 9 bridesmaids so I began shopping months ago for gifts!  They are wearing different style purple dresses.  I'm giving them the following:

    -Old Navy tote

-Old Navy strapless beach dress to get ready in (each got a different color/pattern)

    -Old Navy flip flops (silver)

-Jessica McClintock clutches (silver, all different)

-Earrings from QVC, Diamonique - all different

-OPI nail polish and Philosophy lip gloss

I'm all about the reuse it factor! I figure they can use everything again, and it won't be "another" bridesmaid gift they discard.

I'm also giving totes with stuff inside. I'm not into personalization or anything that says BRIDE or BRIDESMAID since they wouldn't be able to re-use it. I got fun canvas totes from Forever21 (@$1.50 per bag...a steal!), and putting in gold clutches, their pearl jewelry, a purse mirror, lip gloss, and I'm DIY-ing a dress hanger to use that day.

aww so cute!! All my BMs found these rhinestone flasks that they LOVE. Tacky? Or okay to get because they have all commented to me several times how cute it is and how "they've always wanted one but they are always ugly and made for men...."? lol.

I'm going to give my MOH a tote with the following things:

    - DIY clutch (my mom made most of it, but I helped, haha) with lip gloss and gum inside

    - a picture frame, with a picture of us from the wedding to be sent post-wedding

    - earrings, probably from Anthropologie since we both love that place

    - flip flops for the outdoor picnic reception

    - We both like to read and always recommend each other books, so I'm trying to think of a book she'd really love that would be appropriate for the occasion.

    - maybe one other small thing...

Here's a photo of the clutch pattern we used:

So I had asked about robes for the BM to wear while getting ready the day of the wedding, and I happened to be looking at some random photographers photos and saw a picture of the bridal party wearing the CUTEST ones!

I am not a fan of having "BRIDESMAID" or "MAID OF HONOR" written largerly, as i want the girls to be able to wear and use these gifts years from now... however, it is VERY cute in the pictures! Also, not a fan of rhinestones on a robe, a little uncomfortable if on they are on the back, especially if they are silky/satin material, and you lay down.

Anyways, these ones have the girl's initials on the front, and in small print "BM" across the back of the robes sash you tie it with, and I'd get an extra ones for them to use after thats plain.. so years from now they can use it and not have "bridesmaid" written on it.

PROBLEM.  i have no idea where to get these! They are perfect length, material..look comfortable- best I have seen yet. PLEASE let me know if you know what brand these are, or if you know a brand that is similar..i can always get plain ones that style, and get them embroidered at one of the stores around me!

The robes can be view on this website that has TONS of great, unique, cute ideas for gifts, wedding ideas, picture idea... etc. To go to the website and view the pictures of the robe click here.

If you want i really suggeted going to "steal this idea" on the website, VERY clever ideas!

Or you can just view the picture of them below (but u are missing out on some good ideas by not going to that website)...

BTW.. my colors are purples (I'd get them lavendar), but I don't know how well me wearing a white robe mixed with airbrush makeup will look at the end of the day? SOO i actually saw a group where the bridal party was wearing white robes, and the brides was wearing coral (her wedding color). What do you think about that? I will be wearing white all day... why not change it up?

No idea where to find the robe.  I know that Etsy has everything.  I am sure you could find somene selling something like that or get it custom made.  It looks like it is just the belt that has the words on it and they could switch that out if they didn't want that part later.  I love the monograms on the front!

I'm buying their dresses, jewelry, paying for their hotel room and hair. So, that's their gift! I also wrote them a nice thank you not and have been sending "little gifts" throughou the process, a Bath and Body Works giftcard when we went dress shopping, etc. Just to thank them for all they do! But I only have two.

@ nola: LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea  of getting the hair towel for the girls to use when getting ready!! All my BM (well 6 out of 9 of them) are staying with me in my suite (its 1200 sq ft, sleeps) the night of the rehearsal dinner because I am scared of them driving after drinking, being late as we are crunched for time during the day to get all the BMs, me and moms ready (total of 12 ladies). Have on site hair and makeup professionals there I am paying for... and to speed the process up I told them that all they have to decide is if they want their hair pin straight, straight with a little volume, loose curls, or tighter curls (like taylor swifts hair)..basically all there hair will be down and the lady doing the hair only has to grab the curling iron (well from the 2 sizes) or the flat iron! The night before the girls are going to have washed and blow dryers their hair so that is SOO PERFERCT!!!!!

And I am going to steal the custom hanger with name on it for the day of! All the girls dresses look a like and will all be hanging in my rooms huge closest. GREAT idea for no mix ups or confusion!!!! Do you have a picture of what they look like?

I'd say if you want to add nail polish, one that you like and goes with the colors! You can even add the little flip-flops and toe divider used for pedicures if u add nail polish! Lip stick/makeup is tough as it looks different on each girl.  But love your ideas!

Most of the items I am making myself (hair towel and body wrap, hanger, wine glass).  I do not have a pic of mine because I am a slacker and have only bought that supplies and not put together yet.  I can send you a sample though of one on etsy.  Will find and add in a sec.

This is the style that I am doing but I did a velvet hanger to match my color so I wont have all the extra writing just the name in the metal.

    http://www.etsy.com/listing/50679351/wire-hangers-for-your-bridal-party?ref=sr_list_17&ga_search_query=wedding+hanger+custom&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=&order=&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title

I have also seen ones that are just the wood with the name painted on the wood.  I just really like the name in wire though.

    What do you think?

@Nola: yeah i really like those hangers!! I had found these hangers but Ilike the ones your found better! The wooden part of the hanger makes it much nicer looking, and gives you more options! The wire part can have each of their names, and depending on what you want the wooden part can have u and ur FI names with the date, have them painted, etc. For me, I love to give gifts that are reuseable, so I would opt out of putting the names/date of the wedding on the wooden part and have them painted all different colors/designs for them to be able to tell which is theres in more than one way (as a hanging garment covers up the wire name). You can use your wedding colors and have one with polka dots (like red 1 on there), another with a flower design, plain, etc. or use each BM favorite color! There are many options! I really like them!

I am hoping none of my bridesmaids read this...since some of them are brides to be themselves!

Anyhow, I am having a beach/destination wedding so I am doing a travel theme for their gifts.  The most expensive part were silver charms from the gift shop of the aquarium we are getting married at.  I plan to get a simple silver chain for their charm.  I got bags at Target today for 1.25 each (go look for the black dot beach totes 50% off!!!) and I am going to fill them with: monogrammed beach towels, a little travel kit with travel bottles for lotion/shampoo/conditioner, a travel sunscreen, snacks, drinks, an airplane bottle of liquor, and I plan to sew a little laundry bag for clean/dirty unmentionables (like this: http://www.popgadget.net/images/cleandirtybag.jpg).  I also attached a monogrammed luggage tag to the outside of each bag.

Do you think this is enough or should I put more into each?  With 5 BM's it is difficult to stay in budget and every wedding I've ever been a part of is very minimal with the gifts.  I am not making them buy anything since my dresses are just going to be black, I like the mismatched look :)

I have 2 bridesmaids (my sister is MOH and my fiance's sister is BM).

So far, I've got them a personalized jewelry roll from Etsy (CraftyStitches) and a Swarvoski necklace. I'm also planning on having us all get manis/pedis done a day or two before the wedding. I may stop at those 3 things, I'm undecided on a few other ideas I've had.

I just have a MOH (and I tend to go overboard)...

So far, I got her a tote with her initial on it and so far have a personalized metal water bottle, a personalized note pad, a clutch to use the day of the wedding from an etsy seller, a personalized mirror for her purse and I'm going to knit her a stole to wear if it's chilly for the wedding.

Other than that, if I can afford it when the time comes, I will also pay for a hotel room for her and her husband.

I am definately getting one of these for each bridesmaid: theracktrap.com            I personally think they are genius (I hate wearing purses)! I was also thinking of getting them either a robe (mentioned above) or maybe a personalized apron? I have found some cute ones that look very girly! :)

Well, I am on a budget since I'm having a destination wedding also. But I think my girls will love the following:

    -Personalized wine glasses

-A journal and pen ( which I wrote a nice thank you letter in each)

    - a derron tote

    - jewelry for the day

    - a photo frame since I have set up where I will take a picture with each one separately

-and a small inspiration gift I found at dollar tree yet so cute!!!

Plus, I will be paying for all of us to stay at a suite the night before and covering hair(for some and makeup)

@splatt11x - Another idea is to go out and buy a robe that you like for your girls.

Look up embroidery shops in your local area. Those places will embroider just about anything on any material (but I would check and make sure if there's any types they can't use i.e. silk etc)

I got them cute clutches from etsy seller ToonDesign, but that's it so far.  I am making the girls pearl headbands to go with their dresses.  I want to get them robes, too, but I haven't found them yet.

Now to figure out gifts for my bridesmen, because I can't get them clutches or robes.

I am getting married at the beach so my bridesmaid gift is travel/relaxation related.

I bought them a cute beach bag and filled it with:

A beach towel (I am monogramming them at school since I will be the apparel teacher next year and need to learn how to run the machine!)

    A sunburn relief kit.

Flip flops (two pairs - one for the beach pictures and one for them in bright summery colors)

A travel case for make up and such.

A silver charm for the "cake pull".

    Trashy gossip magazine.

Travel bottles and tote for wet items.

Travel lotion and possibly travel sunscreen lotion.

A seacreature loofa and some bath fizzy.

I love the idea of a Bridesmaid Recovery Kit so I am thinking of getting a coozie, water, meds, etc...and the fast food gift certificate sounds too funny!

Since I sew, I strongly considered sewing them a "dirty" and "clean" undie travel bag but I am thinking that is going to be TOO TIME INTENSIVE.
