I let my BMs choose to do whatever they wanted with their hair ...
@milesbella: thank you! =) Everyone looks so beautiful!
I paid for them all to have their hair done and the only requirement was that is was half up.
I meant to add that I picked 4 or 5 hairstyles and let my girls chose. It turned out that my friends all chose the same hair style. My younger cousin and DHs younger cousin chose the same, and my junior bm chose something different. So it work out kind of cool.
@FutureMrsChaney: Everyone looks really great; congrats again to you! =) Great how it all plays out so beautifully! Loving those "check me out poses" too!
So far my only requirement/specification would be the braid at the front/side of their head...the rest can be left down, swept to the side, whatever! =)
@CupCakeMeg: Thats the style that my younger bms chose it was really cute! all the styles I chose had loose curls as a theme so I am sure yours will look great!
I had mix and match everything. Hair, makeup, dress, shoes. It looked great.
@CupCakeMeg: Love the hairstyle for girls! Might haave to borrow it for myself... :)
I let my ladies choose but they didn't really know what they wanted so my hairdresser picked a style and went with it. Although the style was the same it looked different as one of my girls had super long hair and the other shoulder length.
@auggiefrog: Oh please do! I'm loving the braid right now. Its so romantic, yet subtle, in my opinion; if you want it to be.
@Kemma: My girls are going to meet picture ready, besides in their dresses. So Im sending them pictures via email to so they can take examples to their hair stylists the day of. 2 of my 3 girls have long hair, 1 has shoulder length. So we shall see. Was hoping to give them just the front/braid look and let them decide on the finishing style, bun, ponytail, down, curly, etc.
I have a new favorite or three. Dam it.

Its just a BRAID, but they are all so different?!
I really didn't care that much, especially about their hair.
I couldn't find a bridesmaids dress that I really liked so we went with a color I sorta liked in a style I really didn't like but 2 of the 3 of them liked....lol,sounds sad but it turned out okay.
I had no input whatsoever on their hair. We had a hairdresser there the day of and she did whatever they asked her to.
@pengoala: LOVE that dress, almost picked it for my girls! xo
@kala_way: sorry you didnt find anything you loved, but then again, can we really love something that we dont even get to wear, or that would suck at least. Definitely like the freedom of individuality for each of their hairstyles!
Thanks for ALL the input ladies!
My Bmaid was a Bee on here, and was looking for more hair/braid inspiration and sent me the picture from my OP. Glad she likes it!! xo
I let my girls wear their hair how they wanted. I just specified an updo since my hair was in an updo as well. They both looked great!

@CupCakeMeg: Thanks! Yeah, they turned out really nicely and look very similar to yours! :)
@CupCakeMeg: I LOVE
your braid inspiration pics! All of them! I'm planning on wearing mine in a low side ponytail only because I always do a low side braid anyway....but maybe I can add in that braid, too! Thank you for the idea. :)
@Juliepants: glad I could help!
Just fell in love with this one! =) You inspired me to share with your love of braids!

I let me BM's choose how they wanted their hair. but they kind of came out very similar to one another LOL. Their dresses were from Davids Bridal Style number F12688, they all loved this dress!!

This is the hair for my bridesmaids with similar make up and this is the dress (not very good picture) whic i got from light in the box and they are amazing!

I let them choose their own hair but they chose to do the same thing- which to get the similarity they wanted, I ended up doing all of theirs after I did my own. Basically half up with a little hair from the ponytail wrapped to cover the tie.
Dresses went kind of similar, told them green or purple and tea or longer and they went with green and a similar length
Thanks again for all the shares! Everyone looks so wonderful! xo

This is just a guest pic, since my pro pics havent come in yet. I had my girls just get blowouts with lots of volume, they looked like total rock stars! The dresses are convertible and they all wore them in a different style

Im trying to decide on a hair do for my girls, I'm not a fan of updos, on anyone; just dont. But to each their own. Need to gather some inspiration and see what overall looks good for a sweetheart strapless satin floor length gown.
As for 11/30/2011 (@ 1PM PST) I like this hair for my girls.
This is their dress
On of my ladies has shorter, or right above shoulder length hair, what could she do, just leave it braided and all down?
Thanks Ladies! && dont forget to share your opinion and your picks and/or inspiration for your Bridesmaids! xo
