@ktkoala:

I chose Lenox Venitian Lace. I chose it based on what was sold at the stores near our guests at BBB and Macys. You can use the 20% off at BBB on Lenox products so that was a plus. I do love Lenox and the China is lovely and timeless IMO.

I am not sure when it will be discontinued. You can go to web sites like replacements.com for discontinued patterns.

@SaraP2012:  I love that!!

We’re not going fine china because I don’t think we’d really end up ever using it, but if we were gonig to do it I think I might do this one:

It’s Vera Wang Wedgwood “Flirt”

@ktkoala:  Thanks 🙂 i am super excited about it. The stock photos of the plates really dont do it justice. It has a lot more shine and looks a lot lighter in person. This was the best pic i could find of it on someones table

I’m having the hardest time deciding which one to register for:

My mom bought me 6 settings china for my 21st birthday, but it was discontinued, so I set up a registry at Replacements.com to(hopefully) get the rest at our wedding.                 It’s Kate Spade Library Lane Aqua.

Oh I love tableware!  I have my Grandma’s silver.  I’m so glad to have it because most people don’t even register for sterling anymore because it’s become so expensive.  Here’s our choices:

Noritake Chatelaine Platinum

Vera Wang Duchesse

This was my Grandma’s wedding silver from 1946.   The pattern is Northern Lights by International Silver.  I love that our china pattern has beading on it that coordinates with the flatware!
