We didn't have one, because of timing, but in another universe (LOL) a dream bachelorette party would be either:
A. Going to Hollywood and seeing a movie premiere @ the Chinese theatre - arriving in a fabulous limo, dressed to the nines with my girls ;)
B. Total spa experience at some fancy-schmancy resort - any location, really, just a whole day amazingness.
I have the best MOH in the world and we're doing TWO that are dreams of mine! My first is in Vegas in March (she happened to have a business trip out there and it's snowballed into a bachelorette) then in May she's organizing an 80's Prom excursion--it's all ages so my 80's obsessed daughter can come!
I want to spend a weekend in the woods rock climbing with my girls! Just us and the rock!
My favorite memories with my pals involve food, drinks, and dancing... so some combination of that would make for an ideal weekend - the actual place doesn't matter. ...and a spa day w/ a super long massage would be dreamy! :)
I think my dream may be coming true!! My MOH called last night to inform me she was looking into Vegas options and that it was the top contender!! I am thrilled because I am an East coast gal and haven't been to Vegas yet....EEEEEEE!! I am still so excited about the possibility!!
I'm really happy with how mine is shaping up: a girl's weekend at our lakehouse. I can't imagine doing anything else!
My 2 BFF's are the 2 most kick a$$ MOH's in the world - they told me to block off the weekend & won't tell me anything else about it. I gave them names and I know they just emailed out a save the date kinda thing. I know the list I sent them, the last weekend in July and that it'll be in Atlantic City - that's it.
It's within driving distance for us (I said no flights) and my hope is it'll be a weekend of sitting on the beach, getting a couple spa treatments & mani-pedis or whatever and drinks and dancing all night. Some of my guy friends from work are supposedly coming too so that means we might be able to get into a couple of the gay clubs down there (where all the really good music is). Spending the night partying with all my friends around me from various parts of my life?? Sounds like perfection to me. ;)
yeah definitely love the idea of a themed bachelorette and lots of dancing! Would love a night out in the city (NYC) with a limo or party bus driving us around to the hottest spots. This is a little more realistic than the following...
VEGAS, it would be awesome!!!!! ...but I think I would get myself into trouble haha
OOO or an all inclusive caribbean vacation would be the sh*t too!
i get my 2 dream parties...
1st - me and my BP plus a few other girls will go to vegas for the weekend (my favorite party place in the world!!)
2nd - camping for a weekend with my girlfriends and some of our moms, maybe throw in fishing and a float trip too!
My dream bachelorette involves some kind of spa treatment w/ my girlfriends, a nice dinner out, some cocktails and a little dancing, ending the night by having a slumber party all together in a big fancy hotel room, and brunch the next morning before everybody goes their separate ways.
...now if only my MOH were reading this description. Hint, hint ;-)
Oooh, I'd want to do Vegas too. Or Miami for some serious beach time and mojitos and dancing.
My MOH and BMs are planning my dream bachelorette-- Miami!! We're Cali girls, so we've all been to Vegas many many times. In fact, all my married girlfriends had their B-rettes in Vegas. Miami will be a real treat (and change of scenery) for us all! I can't wait to lay out on the beach, go to the spa, drink tropical drinks, and dance my butt off with my girls!! It's going to be a crazy, fun time-- CAN'T WAIT! :)
since we're on a budget, I probably won't do much.
but my dream would be a private cabin with my girls, and a spa day, hair, nails etc. Then drinking and staying up late watching flicks and eating like pigs! haha. and of course dancing ;) (that always happens after drinking, right?!)

I have a wide variety of dream bachelorette parties, which I think is a good thing because that way I'll be happy whatever ends up happening. I moved across the country last summer though and I think the number one thing that will make it a dream bachelorette will be getting to spend the time with all my close friends from back home. Whether we spend the weekend in a cabin on a lake like we did on vacation together years ago, or get dressed up and go out for a fancy dinner and out on the town, I know I'll love it and we'll have a ton of fun. I can't wait.
im going to LA with like 8 friends! i didn't think they'd want to do it bc everyone already has to travel for my wedding, but we found cheap flights and are all camping out at a friends' house. i dont really know what we're doing but i think it involves clubbing and a lot of grey goose.
hopefully we'll get to do some sightseeing (aka shopping) since ive never been to LA and go to some really fun restaurants, but im SUPER excited.

If I could do anything I'd love a weekend away at a spa resort in the country, to spend half the time lounging in the pool and getting treatments and the other half going walking and getting fresh air, and then cocktails and luxurious dinner at night!
But it's not going to happen, I can totally not afford it!
New Orleans! It's mine and my girls favorite place. If I could have any girl weekend, it would be drinking in the Quarter, eating beignets while drinking chickory coffee with a hangover, and shopping on Canal Street. God I miss New Orleans!
i would love to do a relaxing weekend in a cabin or beach house but my girls are not all friends with each other. I have a few close friends from Jr. high, a few from high school, and a few from college plus some sorority sisters from college who don't overlap with my roomates from college. So, to even have 8 girls, no more than 3 of them would be friends with each other which makes it less fun. I think it's a great group for going out to dinner and hten dancing though so we'll most likely do that - at least everyone is of age so we won't have to worry about that.
Mine would probably be a week or a long weekend in Napa Valley. Realistically, it'll probably be a weekend at the beach, which I am just as happy with!
i had my dream bachelorette party! i didn't know it was, until they took me there and surprised me, but it was awesome and sooo me! a surprise trip to vermont in the fall for the weekend with just my bridal party- sil and sister. we went apple picking, on a food tour, to ben and jerry's, to the cabot cheese factory, a play, lots of cider mills, ate maple everything, played in the leaves, drove to canada (my sil had never been there). it was the best!
and next week i'll get a local bachelorette party, we're going to do jewelery making and then game night.
My dream bparty includes some sort of lap dance or pole dancing class, pizza and wine for dinner, and hitting the strip clubs and dance clubs at night. Having a deep tissue massage and a French pedi the next afternoon would wind it all back down.
We should all get in touch and forward this thread to each others' MOHs! Haha!
It would be a spa weekend in Vegas for sure!

My bachelorette party is something that I've been kicking around in my head for a while, even though we're still a ways out until it will need to be discussed. Even though I realize that the dream and the realtiy are most definitely not the same thing, I love walking through it and fleshing it out!
My dream is to go to Calistoga and have a spa day with my girlfriends; lots of mud baths and scrubs....*sigh*
