    Hi Girls,

I need your help! We are taking our e-pics at the end of the month and I have no clue what to wear! Ideas? We will probably do some beach and some city pics.

If you've already taken them, do you mind posting a pic of your outfit!

I haven't had mine taken yet and I'm not sure what to wear either. If it's warm enough, you could do some flip flops for the beach part and get a cute picture of your feet in the sand or something along those lines (playing in the surf, along the waters edge, etc). We're having ours taken in a castle-y park thingy I think, so it will mostly be us playing on the fun equipment. I want some really silly ones and I don't think we'll dress up for much of it to be honest, just jeans and a tee, albeit a nice tee without writing/specific designs.

We were in a city-esque setting, and didn't change.  It was fall, so I wore a bright green cardigan, white tank, dark jeans and black flats. I think it worked for me because I rarely wear patterns or super dressy clothes, but love bright colors - I think the key is to look like you!

(this isn't my fave picture, but you can see the whole outfit. FI was just in a white shirt/black blazer/dark jeans)

I'm in Minnesota and did mine middle of January, so I wore my coat, but I had jeans and a sweater underneath.

we had four different outfits. the more options, the better. that way when you get your proofs back, you'll have many different poses and outfits to choose from. i wore a dress while he wore nice black pants and a button up, we had sweaters, and then a more casual outfit.

I looked for something new, but couldn't find anything I liked, so I wore an old dress I had owned for several years but never really got the chance to wear, which was in FH's favorite color on me.

One thing our photographer stressed was to dress in something you would normally wear. She said alot of people end up wearing an outfit they wouldn't wear- and then in turn don't like their pics.

I was planning on wearing a dress, but then the weather ended up being alot cooler than we originally thought- so I went with dark jeans, a white top, and an orange cardigan over it with some wedges. I then changed into another shirt and my boots.

FI wore dark jeans and a button down and then changed into another shirt and wore his boots.

I haven't gotten all our pics back yet, but from the sneak peeks- I love them because they are definitely us!

I agree with what others have said, definitely wear something you would normally wear and will be comfortable in.  We had our pictures taken at my family's farm and a dress just didn't seem appropriate, plus it was kind of cold.  FI and I both wore jeans.

I wore an outfit that I ended up hating. Wear something that makes you look good, no matter if you don't particularly like it. If i'd just worn the wrap dress that I don't particularly like but that looks great on me, I'd have about five times less regret!

Luckily, we're having two rounds, so I'm wearing something better in round two. Woo! Good luck with picking something!

Sorry if the picture is a little big.

Anyway, I just went with an outfit that was still me, but that was a little dressier than normal.

I saw this on Elizabeth Anne Designs in an epic post, and immediately got the dress from Anthropologie. I've read to stay away from prints.

I wore a dress and boots, since I am a dress kind of girl.  We were in and out of our coats for variety, but didn't change clothes.

Wear what you're comfortable in!  It will show in pictures!

Thanks girls.  I have learned a lot.

    • Wear something I would normally wear.
    • Have two or three outfits: Maybe a casual, dressy and just for fun?
    • Stick to solid prints.
    • Make sure I look good in it. (Flattering to body-probably)

New questions that I thought of:

Do FI need to coordinate a little- so our colors aren't too off from each other?

    Where do you change outfits?
