My shoes!!!
I wish we had gotten more pictures of them though.

My shoes, menus/place cards, and purses - one rhinestone at a time..

our travel-theme invites complete with pocket envelopes, passports, boarding passes and destination brochures
@AlwaysSunny: thanks!! A lot of work Burt well worth it. The pic doesn't show our inserts for the pocket fold.
my inspiration came from another bee on this site but I can't remember who now.
@MzGT_062213: you know what's really OMG? the fact that I'm dumb enough to make 4 of them. Yep - that's right - FOUR OF THEM...I bought 4, one for me and 3 for the BMs and now I'm not sure why I thought spending all those hours was a smart idea LOL I'm halfway done the third though and I think each one gets easier and faster LOL

I have so many favs, like my ring pillow and my garter. But I think if I had to choose I'd choose our invites, although techically fi made them.
@rosworms: Those shoes are amazing. It only took me a second to know what you made them with and I thought those were the coolest. ? is how did you make them.

This is my DIY Sand Ceremony Vases I made yesterday Sunday!
@RockStar33: Love your invites! How did you make them? I would like to do something similar if it isn't too hard!
Our table numbers! I scoured local thrift stores for months to find vintage high quality frames. We also made a frame for our photobooth, flips flops and guestbook. After we had chosen our favorites we painted them all antique gold and cut and fit all the numbers (gold foil cards). Not incredibly complicated when it comes to DIY but it took a lot of research and running around to get it all to come together.

Oops! clicked ok too soon. Too many to post, but I really liked how the painted vases, paper flowers, and the escort card pinwheels turned out. And, my pinwheel ceremony backdrop. THAT took forever!

@sweetie78: wow! That back drop looks like a LOT of work! Awesome job!
Since I DIY'ed everything I have alot....but here are my fav's.
STD's and Invites:
Wedding Welcome packages with scavengar hunt cards:
Altar urns:
Hot chocolate station reuseable sleeves:

Menu cards, favour tins, and paper airplane for grande entrance:
My smore packages for later in the evening.
Lastly...my photobooth backdrop with props.
This is hard because most of my wedding was DIY... I'll put my favorites, ones that were the hardest hehe. We had to decorate ourselves too so it was just work work work until we left the venue that night lol.

My centerpieces! I also made the table names and the votives.

My candy table!

My cardbox!
Menu board!
Escort board and guest book!
Arch!
I painted wooden plaques with chalk board paint for our photo kiosk. I also made some lace covered jars for candles :-)
Sheesh that is a big picture of me and yes that is our seating plan on the floor behind me... haha
It was a grueling process, hahah.. to be quite honest... my DH did all the glueing of the burlap, i did the decorating and inserts.
we had no instructions to go off of unfortunately so it was trial and error for us. The simplest way i can explain is we cut 2 pieces of cardboard to the size we wanted the invite, then we cut the burlap and placed the cardboard on it with a space in the middle where it folds... then we glued the burlap around it with hot glue... let it dry, then we decorated next, we picked up the supplies at a craft store and fabric store, hot glued it on and let it dry, then we cut the pocketfold to size and glued it on as well as the invitation part, and voila.
It only took us a long time because since we started months and months ahead of time, we would do like 10 at a time, then leave it for a couple weeks, then do 10 more.... etc.
I have quite a few!
15 Bridcage centerpieces

Reception decor by gift table:
Alternative to the regular photobooth
and one more!
My cardholder box
Goegreous DIYs, everybody!!
@sn2bmrsmntgmry: How did you make the (felt?) bouts? They're so cool!
@sweetie78: Did you follow a tutorial for the paper flowers? If so, please post a link. They look great! The back drop also looks amazing!
I haven't had my wedding or done many of my DIYs but my favorite has definitely been my personalized hangers. :)

My favors- homemade limoncello and vanilla extract AND hangtags, designed by my hubby!

My invitation suite- designed by my guy, along with ALL of our paper collateral.

My ring bearer's pillow- design idea stolen from Martha Stewart Weddings but made in a different color.

My birdcage-

Our wedding wands-

These are great! We DIYed WAY more than I thought, as I'd previously thought I wasn't crafty. We printed our own invites from a set at Michael's, designed and printed our programs, etc.
I liked our favors, which were Christmas ornaments. We made a tag explaining that we like collecting ornaments when we travel (most of our guests traveled), and wanted something that represented both of us. We're both from states known for lighthouses (Michigan and Maine), so that was my pick. We were able to personalize some of them with colors, etc., for individual guests.

I also liked our table signs and sign holders. The holders were made from wine corks of bottles we'd shared. I also like the way we did the escort cards, as it made it really easy to make last minute changes to the seating chart.

And while the holders were still a work in progress:

Escort cards (the ornaments were in the bags):
We also lit the paper lanterns so they would glow at night. That was quite time consuming to figure out how to it, and then actually carry it out. And I don't have any photos from at night that would show them glowing :(

@PumpkinCheesecake: I did make them! I was happy with how they turned out! Thanks. But the bout's aren't felt, they are made from regular fabric. The poms are the ones made out of felt. :-)
Thanks!
PumpkinCheesecake: I was a paper flower-making tutorial Googling master! You can find them online everywhere. Some were single petal, some were coffee filters that I dyed and others were basically just tiny tissue paper pom poms. The hardest part was finding good paper in the right colors. I found most of what I needed on Martha Stewart, of course. : )

If I had seen this tutorial first, I probably would have just made them all this way. They resembled peonies, and you could make them any color you wanted with paint. They had a lovely antique look to them, and were so easy once they were painted!

Here are my faves so far out of the many DIYs
my shoes

bridesmaid bags I embroidered by hand
and my invites
@BrookieCookie9: How did you get this to look so solid? I tried and it is full of streaks and a bit more transparent. Do I need to do a couple coats?
@Treejewel19: I LOVE your DIY project!! Are you selling any of your decor? Specifically the table numbers? :-)
@Misswa2011: The table numbers were already sold to another bee, sorry! I don't have too much left just my veil, fascinator and perhaps one or two more small items.
They all got snatched up quickly!
